With the last fill posted, the Jackrabbit Vday 2014 event has ended.
I just want to thank you all so much for participating. You should all be so proud of yourselves! Over the months of February and March we have filled the Jackrabbit tag with delightful valentines day images. Already I am aware that a new Jackrabbit Week will be starting in the near future. I'm not involved in running that, but I still want to encourage everyone to participate because after seeing all of your writing and art first hand i would be thrilled to see it again.
I would like to mark this event as a success. Thank you so much to the people who took on extra fills because someone had to drop out. All of you did wonderful.
I'm not sure if we'll be having this event again next year. I would like to think so, because I hope that the Jackrabbit ship will still stand strong by next Valentine's Day. If so, I am also unsure if I will be hosting it, or if I will be a participant, but I just want to encourage all of you to continue doing what you do. Be it for Jackrabbit Week, Easter, Christmas, or any other occasion, I hope you continue to write and draw and dream up ideas and AUs and headcanons... because that is what makes this ship so strong. All of us coming together, existing together, and creating these amazing things.
Congratulations to everyone who participated in the event, to everyone who will participate in Jackrabbit Week, and to everyone who simply enjoys admiring the writing or artwork. This has been a success, and I couldn't be happier for all of us.
