Unfortunately not. But we could probably get one. [She flashes him a bright smile] I still maintain that I did no such thing as cheat. That’s very wrong and un-hunterlike.
We? No, I think I'm beginning to outstay my welcome here...or most of my regulars got eaten by the un-dead masses. [He comes to sit on her side of his cell, legs stretched out and leaning back on his hands. He snorts.] So....basically sounds just like you? I'm sure your family is so proud of you.
"I’ve yet to see them," she muttered. Feeling the need to walk, Eva began to pace her cell. Her stomach churned, forcing her to battle down the need to vomit. Sweat had started to bead at her forehead and she was forced to take a seat on her cot, pressing her back against the concrete wall in hopes of leeching any sort of coolness from it.
"We never speak. Can't say that I'm surprised." Jackson eyed her warily, half tempted to ask her if she was okay. Even less tempted to offer her one of the bottles of juice he had squirled away beneath his mattress, but she looked like she needed something. His better nature won out though and, after making sure none of the guards were paying attention, he set a full bottle of apple juice just inside her cell -his score from the zombie apocalypse.
The woman was twitchy, but doing her best to hide her trembling hands and shaking legs. “Real fucking clever,” she snapped, though her voice didn’t hold its usual snark.
Jackson shrugged again, his expression blank. "I have my moments." he glanced down at the faint, rust colored stains on her floor. He didn't remember her bleeding last night, but then again he'd spent most of his time with his head buried beneath his arms. Anything to drown out the wolf's high pitched crying.
"That’s… terrible." One smaller than her own? Angelica would have gone crazy before the next sunrise. The normal cells were hard enough.
He nodded, "Hence the high pitched screeching sounds keeping me up last night." Jackson had grown to hate werewolves, same as every other hunter in the place, but that sound had been torture to him. Torture still that he could do nothing to help her.
Eva flinched at the mention of her miniature hell, lifting her lip to snarl at Jackson, “Shut the fuck up.”
Jackson shrugged his shoulders. He knew it would probably be a touchy subject for her, and part of him did feel sorry, but he didn't feel like suppressing his natural disdain for her or her pain. " You should take your own advice."

"Your cell lets you walk around and claw at your neighbors through the bars...I don't even think she could move."
“Is it the full moon tonight?”
"It was last night."
"Oh, please. Listening to you talk, you’d think I attacked you. Obviously, you’re in one piece."
"Wasn't talking about you. I wasn't talking about Goldilocks over there in her torture cage."
Eva rolled her eyes, “Could be worse. You could be stuck next to the whiniest hunter this Chateau has ever seen.”
Jackson cut his eyes at her, "The sounds you made..." He shudders, "I almost felt sorry for you. That was some cage they put you in....and I'm not even claustrophobic."
Jackson shook his head, hand raised and gingerly holding one side of his face. "Is this a thing now? Sticking a hunter in between two wolves on the one night they go furry?"

You’ll have to excuse me, then. I ain’t ever been too great at picking up figures of speech - being a hillbilly and all, my education weren’t the best. Most of us do, I can admit, but I like to believe I’m not like the rest. But, I am sure you are the expert on every Master to pass your cell, so who am I to question your almighty knowledge?
Now that we're on the same page...

After this weekend, even I am feeling the need for some hard alcohol.

[Jackson furrowed his brow. The corner of his mouth curled up in disgust.] That supposed to be a joke?
