*OH???? *OHHH!!!! AM I SEEING WHAT I THINK I’M SEEING?!?

The tall skeleton’s eyesockets were sparkling with wonder and excitement as he stared at the thin figure that was before him. Another skeleton!! Papyrus was wondering when he would find yet another of his kind, besides the fake plastic ones that hung in store windows during this season. Ech. Now his mind was focused once again on the unbelievably lewd display that he only saw yesterday. Why humans thought it would be a good idea to do that was completely beyond him. Shaking his skull away from those thoughts, his attention was once again brought to the black and white-clad ghoul, his grin widening as his excitement rose. What didn’t cross his mind was the fact that this monster wasn’t the type of monster that he was familiar with….

*GREETINGS, FELLOW SKELETON!!!! I DON’T BELIEVE WE HAVE MET! I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS, FORMER ROYAL GUARD IN TRAINING AND SPAGHETTI CHEF EXTRAORDINAIRE!! WHAT IS YOUR NAME??

The other skeleton’s abrupt tone nearly caught the master of fright off-guard. The reactions he was accustomed to outside of Halloween Town were of terror and fright, not wonder. This stranger was acting as though he had spotted Sandy Claws leaving presents on Christmas Eve. Perhaps this skeleton was merely a fan of his work? After all, he was rather famous-- known throughout England and France.

Before Jack could dwell on the other skeleton’s behaviour, he found his skull ringing with Papyrus’ excitable voice again. The lanky holiday leader placed his claw-like hands upon his bony hips and allowed his sitched mouth to stretch into a friendly grin. “ Why, I am Jack Skellington, Pumpkin King of Halloween. You must know that, of course, hm? ” He bent his lanky frame into a elaborate bow before continuing. “ It’s an absolute horror to meet you, dear Papyrus. Spaghetti has marvellous uses in Halloween games, don’t you know? ”
