Christina had been busy with different shows and performing all over the world, so when she had the down time she didn’t take it for granted. She divided her time between the kids and Jack. Things were going pretty well between them at the moment.  When he said they were going on a date tonight she got excited about it. Getting dressed, she waited for him to arrive. Hearing the door, she smiled before grabbing her purse and opening the door for him. “Hey handsome. It’s good to see you” Christina gave him a hug and kiss before closing and locking her door “shall we get going?”

Jack had tried to keep up with Christina's busy schedule and stay in touch where possible but with his own things aswell it had been a little more difficult recently so when he saw her he couldn't help the massive smile that took over his face. He hugged her back enthusiastically and then kissed her back with passion. "I missed you so much." He said "one more before we get going." He kissed her once more, his hand cupping her face. Moving back he sighed happily before finally holding his arm out for her, then he grinned "okay, let's go."

Jack had been in England Promoting Lady Chatterley's Lover in the months before christmas so apart from the moments over the festive period he got to spend with Christina he felt like he hadn't seen her as just the two of them for far too long. Which was why they'd organised a date. Once he was ready he called a car to take him to pick her up and pulled up outside, he would usually probably just text her letting her know he was outside but he wanted to see her properly so he climbed out of the car and strolled up to the door, ringing the bell and then waiting.

I think you being here today should say a lot.  I am glad you found acting, man, I know how this career path we both have chosen has great highs and even bad lows.  We have both come out of it on the good side I feel.  

Yeah it does. As am I very glad. It does for sure I know at times I’ve been down on my luck but when I’m working it just feels right ya know? I think we have. Now how ‘bout we stop the serious chit chat and maybe grab that beer?

Christina was excited to have a date with Jack. She enjoyed hanging out with him and she realized that she really did like him. He showed up for special occasions and was her biggest fan lately. This trip was perfect for them getting to enjoy each other. Getting ready for their amazing date together and she knew she wanted to look her best today. Even though she had no idea what was going on she knew it would be an amazing time. Even though she dressed simple she made sure she looked her best for him. There was something about Jack that made her want to keep him around. Feeling ready she waited for him to finally arrive at the designated time. When she heard the knock on the door she smiled knowing it was him. Opening the door she smiled brightly at him “hey handsome.” Closing the door behind her, she looked at him “so what’s on our plans for today?”

Jack had been having the best time with Christina and felt like they were getting to that point where they were both there for each other, spending a lot of time together, and he was excited to see where this could go. He didn't like being away from her and so had especially been enjoying their time together on this trip. When she opened the door he looked her over and let out a little wolf whistle before stepping inside. Kissing her lightly he looked at her. "You look gorgeous as ever." He gave her a coy smile. "Well I've got a couple of things planned, but I just want to spend the time just me and you more than anything. Are you ready to go?" He asked holding out his hand to her. He had a picnic area all set up just for the two of them in a secluded location. A blanket spread out and food and drink in a basket, he'd even sourced some fairy lights that he'd set up in the trees, and had some candles ready to light on a small table where there was two chairs if they decided against the blanket. He'd tried to think of everything and was thinking they could take a little walk and explore either before or after their picnic and he would go with the flow in finding the perfect opportunity to ask her his question.

I think being in the business as long as I have it took a lot for me to realize it was okay to have some fun from time to time, not only be about the work.  Trying to make everyone else happy and not watching out for myself, I definitely made some mistakes.  I am just glad I learned from them.  

Where I’m from was kind of a rough area and to cut a long story short I got in with the wrong crowd. Acting kind of pulled me through. But that is some sage advice fella.

You know, I really do still feel like a child at heart. Like up for anything and raring to go. But then there’s also times like… I’m sleeping on a different pillow and now my neck is all out of whack. So, I guess things even out. But advil at my fingertips and ready to party the last few days here. Who’s with me?

I wish I was too young to know what you mean but it happens to the best of us. Mixing advil and alcohol you rebel. I agree though got to get all that partying in before the adventure is over.

I am a kid at heart though, so if I can play or watching things that remind me of when I was a kid, I definitely will.  And if you need me out of the room, just tell me, I can make myself scarce.  

I had to grow up way too fast so I get where you’re coming from. Yep I’ll let you know.

Jack had planned a date for him and Christina because he’d been wanting to ask her something for a while but felt like he’d needed to check where exactly they were at. Being away and especially in such a romantic location had finally helped him pluck up the courage to do it and so he knew he needed to rip off the band aid so he didn’t talk himself out of it. It wasn’t like him to be so nervous but ​this was getting pretty serious and it had been a while since he’d been so serious in a relationship. Hoping that after this date they’d finally be official he’d worked hard on it but he knew there was still a chance she might not want to. After finishing setting up he made his way to Christina’s room, he’d text her a time to be ready earlier and checked his watch wanting to make sure he wasn’t running late. Arriving outside the door he knocked and waited.

To be honest, between you and me, Jack, more me than Odette.  It is always nice to watch the classics and remember the simpler times from when I was growing up.   I am definitely game in getting a beer before we head home.  Thank you for being a super cool roommate the last few days, by the way!  

I kinda figured so mate not sure you’re hiding that too well. Sure things were a lot simpler as kids I get that. Ok let’s grab a beer then and right back at ya big guy.

               We only have about four days left here. Does anyone else feel like they just got here or is that just me? One second you’re packing everything to get ready and in the blink of an eye you’re counting down the last few days of the vacation. It’s sad, really. Though I am excited to see my buddy back home. Does anyone have any big plans set for the last few days?

It’s gone so quick and it’s gonna suck to be back to reality after this. I got one thing planned but otherwise I’m just gonna see how things go. How about you? How are you spending the last few days?

i’m convinced that after this trip i’m going to need a detox on the alcohol for a little while. but then again i either go really hard on the drinking or i don’t drink at all for months.so maybe going back to work soon’ll have a perk somewhat. has anyone else been drinking the whole trip? @tinseltownevents​

I used to have such a high tolerance when I was a teen but not so much anymore. I’m the same now either all in or not at all for a long time. This has been an alcohol friendly trip so far but I’m not complaining. How’s the head after been all good?

So who other than I have been having weird dreams about storming the castle in full knight in shining armor on a horse?  Oh and before you ask I might have watched all the Disney animated movie classics like Robin Hood, Sword In The Stone, and anything pertaining to castles.  I know I am forty, but my daughter needed to see the movies so we watched them together, I promise.  Any big plans while we are here the rest of the two weeks for you?

Not gonna lie that dream has not happened for me. I have to ask if watching those was really for your daughter or more for yourself? I got a couple of things I wanna do while I'm here but nothing set in stone if you want to go grab a beer with your roommate sometime. Also if you need the room just give me a signal.

Been traveling, performing in the most amazing of places this summer. It has been a blast getting to do the thing I love the most with the amazing crew that I have. Now it’s time to get back to reality and get the kids ready for school. The struggle of having to get up early to make it on time. New goal for the school year is to not get yelled at by the principal for being late. Makes me feel like I am back in school. Does anyone remember the craziest thing they did that got them in trouble in school?

I know you have, I loved getting to see you in your natural habitat, so to speak. You just look like you belong up there on stage. As for sorting the kids I also know you’re more than capable of getting it all done, you are the master of multi tasking for sure. Oh.. even you probably don’t know my worst getting in trouble at school stories, it happened a lot.
