I simply can't wait to see him again. We see each other more or less every weekend, and while we're not officially dating yet, we're working towards that as our goal and I'm surer each day that I would really enjoy seeing him every day for the rest of my life. To be blunt, in this one night of sex I had with my old flame, I've felt more cared for and had my needs met way more than through the five years with my ex. In retrospect it's sad I settled for mediocrity for so long because I was afraid to never see anything better. Better is out there, we're just scared to find out sometimes.

Not a vent, but there's three guys vying for my attention rn... kinda feels nice I'm ngl. I also didn't have to seek out any of them so that's an extra good point.
My friends are saying this is a soap opera, which makes sense considering what's been going on in my life lately.
I've already slept with one of these guys yesterday, and it was amazing. We were rekindling something we had six years ago, so it makes sense that the chemistry was still there... and it was made better now because of how much we BOTH evolved as people in the meantime... he says he already wants to repeat the experience, which I'm all for, considering our history of nice, long and interesting talks as well as how well we match up in bed. He's kinda trying really hard for me to make up for his previous shortcomings... it's cute.
The other one is my coworker (though he's left the company last week) and with him I've yet to know if he is actually flirting with me for sure (though a lot of people also seem to think that) but I did have a massive crush on him and would be stoked to be given the opportunity to make a honest go at him. We're looking into meeting up bc I have his goodbye gift to deliver to him, since he left early on his last day and I was unable to do that then.
Last one was a guy that had a crush on me for a bit and followed me on ig for years and always liked my selfies and whatnot... he was apparently a friend of my supervisor at work and had told him multiple times he should be alerted if I ever became single again lol... we flirted back and forth today and he wants to meet soon. Wonder how that would go.
We never really got engagement rings, but we did exchange them. I threw mine away today. He hadn't noticed I haven't worn it in two weeks. We hadn't settled on whether or not we were actually going to get married. I'm glad about that now. It might take me a little bit longer to communicate it still, but there's no turning back now.

I keep hinting at it without wanting to say it at this point, but I am very much making up my mind to split up from my fiancé. I have strong reason to believe he's cheating on me, after I already forgave him for doing that a few years ago, and our relationship just hasn't been the same in a good while now. We haven't been working well as a team and I think what's mostly keeping me have been our pets and our apartment... that's just sad.

Currently doing calming exercises bc every time a global tragedy occurs, instigated by the US, people RUN to social media to make "you don't have to feel guilty about it" / "we weren't made to see so many news at once" / "what can we do lol?" -types of posts and it just makes me so angry... specially because I KNOW if someone from an exploited nation insults them then THAT'S when they CAN get up and do something about it and harass them online.
This is a bit uncomfortable to say as someone also resorting to ebegging to help pay my bills, but I've ran across some posts accusing a well known person in the lgbt community of being a scammer, pointing to the number of donations they're getting not corresponding to the situation they're in and like...
I would want to believe, always, that they're telling the truth, all I've seen from them makes them sound cool and I don't necessarily think someone should expose every detail about their life to be believed of being in need of help (lol @ people being like 'x's country has universal healthcare so why are the expenses going to healthcare?' Bc it's so clear that these people have NO clue that universal healthcare systems can be flawed and at times unreliable- I myself had to incur medical debt in a country with such a system because I needed the results faster than the free version could give me/partially not by choice) but...
I did do what people who noticed the suspicious activity said and went looking for the numbers in their linked kofi page and... over a hundred donations just today at a minimum of a dollar and pretty on average for a daily amount as far as I can check on the platform. Yeah I can see how that looks fishy wrt the amount they keep posting about needing, sadly.
Maybe they just went into huge, huge amounts of debt but it is a lot more tough to believe than I would like.
Nothing can be proved atm and I don't agree with people acting like something being suspicious = this being a scam, and people in the comments of their post are Beyond disgusting to them + provably know nothing about the realities of being unhoused, unemployed and sick, but I do think I'll also not reblog their posts further until we know for sure.
Speaking of things I've been vindicated for
"X male character should be a lady instead" fans real silent when it comes to characters who already are ladies.
I will say not every post I made on here has been vindicated with time, but I did realize, once I left that bubble of the fanbase that the overall mood of the ppl involved is like, significantly worsened if every 3 posts are about how you hate how people like dude characters while at the same time none of those people make, share or ask for content for the ladies they supposedly prefer instead.
