Music influence
Delilah smiled lightly as he talked about his wife. She didn’t know what it was like to have someone waiting for you. Well, possibly Thomas had waited for her but overall she had no one when she left. She couldn’t go back home after what she did. “Having someone back home sounds lovely. I don’t know how that feels but somehow I got through my hell with just luck.”
Her hell seemed to be completely different than his. His was war and hers was hunters though there was something in common. They both were just trying to survive. Him for his bride and her for a selfish need to stay alive. The redhead didn’t want to die though she was turned into a nightmare. To her she was still twenty one, barely old enough to even consider death.
On his idea of going to places she has only heard of, Delilah didn’t mind either one. “I don’t mind either one, haven’t visited anything after America. It has been a long time since I left this country. Now —” She paused for a moment, the smile she wore widened at the thought, “Now I can leave whenever I want. I have no one anymore to keep me here.” It was refreshing saying it out loud. It would be just like before and Delilah didn’t know if she wanted that — the girl barely knew what she wanted now.
"Enough with this sad topic. This is a vacation and those should never be sad." Shimming out of his grasp, the woman walked over to the stereo he talked about. Switching it on, she found a station that didn’t sound too horrible. It was an upbeat song and more easy to dance too. "You said you knew how to dance, time to prove it." A shake of her hips and she raised an eyebrow, challenging him.
If there was one thing someone would never be unsure about Delilah, it would be how she got anything she could ever want. Whether that was from her looks, smarts, or the beauty of being a vampire, she loved it all. Turning the music a little louder, she walked back to Jacob. “So, what’s it going to be?” A smirk was displayed and her hands were on her hips.
Jacob didn't understand how someone wasn't there waiting for her. Sure the redhead defiantly was independent, she could do anything her self really. Some men being put off by such strength in woman he found it rather refreshing. "Well I'm glad you have decent lucky then?" He admitted with a small smile.
When she had said she didn't mind either of the destinations he tilted his head slightly to the side when she spoke, something about her made it really hard not to be intrigued by her thoughts, some a complete one eighty on what one would think she'd say, it was unpredictability at it's finest in Jacob's eyes. Smiling as his hand lightly squeezed hers. "As long as you don't go for too long. Unless it's out here with me." He flashed her that charming smile and wink, letting out a small chuckle. "But really, I'll probably just let the wind take us where it wishes and we can find our way back when we want to."
Nodding when she had enough with the sad topic they had at hand, which he didn't mind, he felt like he had opened up enough for one day. When she went over to the radio he wasn't exactly sure what she was doing at first raising an eye brow until it all made sense for him when she reached for the radio. Listening to the few stations she flipped through only made him roll his eyes. Then when she landed on the station she had he could only laugh lightly. "I said I could dance, this might just be making an ass out of myself." Her challenge tempting him.
Taking a step towards her, Jacob extended his hand so she would take it again. "Like anyone could ever say no to you."
