Landon had a gym membership. Did he adhere to a schedule though? Of course not. Sometimes he went five nights a week, sometimes he skipped weeks at a time. Something about the weights clacking against each other and the meatheads taking photos in front of the mirror didn’t calm him. After seeing Oliver all sweaty and in shape, there was a sinister side of Landon that wanted to get back at him. It definitely wasn’t mature, and did Oliver really care if Landon learned how to do a headstand with no help? Probably not. But Landon would deal with that later.
He had purchased his own yoga mat, a deep royal blue color with ocean waves designed all over. The ocean was calming, so Landon assumed looking at it while in downward dog would help him reach inner peace. “Jacob, hey,” Landon said as he placed his mat down next to the man’s. How far away was he supposed to be from the other yoga-goers? “You namaste often? It’s not that hard, right?”

Jake didn’t exactly wanted to be there, he took care of his body at least enough to be healthy, he watched what he ate but gave himself room for indulgement and had a weekly work out routine that was easy to stick too since he had been doing it since college but he gave himself permission to skip it every now and then, never twice the same week though but with the holidays obviously he had gained a little weight and his wife had complained about him working too much and asked him to join her for yoga.... Jake didn’t even exactly counted Yoga as an actual work out, it was mostly stretches, breathing exercises and like... peace of mind, at least as far as he knew.
He was considering just pretending he had gotten a work call when someone settled next to him and he smiled as he recognized him, “Hey Landon... Ah, not really, this is my first time, my wife,” he pointed towards her, she had wanted to be closer to the front but Jake had drawn the line there “Wanted me to come and well... Happy wife happy life,” he explained with a shrug, “I’m guessing you don’t... namaste often either,”
