It was all I had and then I’d end up throwing up from the anxiety.” He whispered and looked back out at the crowd with a winning smile. He was glad Jake took over and took a step back as his best friend spoke. When he finished, Camilo asked one of ushers to hand out some bottles of water. “New York City Summers. They’re awful.” He really did it so he could get Jake alone. “Okay, what happened?”
Jake guided Milo away from the crowd to talk. “I don’t know the full story but Tony had to bail Sam out of jail - I’m guessing for something relating to cars since he’s said he went to prison for it before.” Crosses his arms and leans against the wall, facing the guests who were mingling and trying to keep his facial expressions calm and relaxed incase any of them looked over. He was worried. Tony had said that Sam had put that life behind him but he could tell that his friend has developed feelings for the man he was marrying and he didn’t want to see him hurt. “I’m worried but I want to wait and hear the full story before I jump to any conclusions. Sam’s an awesome guy and I don’t believe he would have just stolen a car or parts or whatever for no reason.” Jake ran his hand over his hairless head. “Or just before his wedding for that matter.”
