here’s a lil info abt jacob!
PAST
Jacob grew up in las vegas with his single mother and younger sister. it wasn’t a conventional household, his mother Sophie an artist who left traces of paint everywhere while the smell of marijuana lingered elsewhere. but they were happy. his relaxed, and often high, mother gave him freedom to do as he pleased which might have altered his grades for the worse but Jake was, by no means, a stupid boy. he just excelled in other areas.
his sister Grace was his most valuable relationship and there was nothing he wouldn’t have done for her. they weren’t just siblings, they were best friends. they stole freshly rolled joints from their mother and watched the stars twinkle in the night. they explored everything they could and made foolish mistakes. they had each other’s backs through thick and thin.
at the age of seventeen, Jacob lost his light. Grace went missing without a trace. they spent months looking for her, desperately calling the police over and over again even though they were doing everything they could to find the fourteen year old. no matter how hard they tried and the hours they devoted, they always came up empty. his mother became apathetic and lost her spark to do anything, leaving Jake to make sure he didn’t lose her too. it was the first time he fixed something.
Jacob never graduated high school, far too busy to take care of his mother and searching for his sister because family was the last thing he’d ever give up on. it didn’t matter that month passed and then eventually years. things came in between and life went on but he’s still searching. he isn’t delusional, the chances that she’s alive are slim but regardless, he needs to find her.
PRESENT
he’s been a fixer for hire for ten years. he enjoys solving problems with a sharp intellect and has no qualms breaking laws if necessary. he’ll accept any job he knows he’s capable of for the right price. (lowkey it’d be dope if he has a big reputation, known as ‘the fixer’ that people recommend and shit!)
he’s still looking for his sister and it’ll never be something that he’s going to give up on. it doesn’t matter what life throws his way, he’s never going to give up.
most of his days are spent either working or drinking because both allows him to keep any pestering feelings he’s buried deep for the past fifteen years at bay.
PERSONALITY
Jacob’s a funny dude who does ridiculous things on the daily. it might not seem like it’d be the case considering how his life is looking but he’s dumb and takes very little serious unless absolutely necessary.
he’s aloof when it comes to his feelings. he doesn’t share them with anyone and doesn’t let people in either. it’s out of fear that if he does and they disappear, he might not be able to take it.
