I'm sitting here at the end of a Sunday and trying to count the things that went right this week. not because everything was good — because it wasn't. Some of it was hard. Some of it hurt. Some of it made me question whether I'm doing this correctly.
But then I remember this past Friday, I raised my right hand and became a Notary Public. i didn't plan that path. God did. I remember: I showed up for my clients when my body was screaming at me to stay in bed. I remember: someone messaged me and said, "Your words helped me today."
gratitude isn't some shiny, curated thing. it's not a highlight reel. it's sitting in the rubble and finding one flower that grew through the crack. it's looking at your life — displaced, rebuilding, tired — and still being able to say, "thank You."
so tonight i'm writing my gratitude list. not a long one. just honest.
i'm grateful i'm still here. i'm grateful i'm still building. i'm grateful God still whispers to me in the morning.
and i'm grateful for you, reading this right now. you're part of the grace. 💜
