I don't know who needs to hear this but... start living. The days are flying by and all you do is work, pay bills, and stress. Enjoy what you can like walks, sunsets, music, laughter. Joy doesn't have to be expensive. You deserve it.

Just remembered I had this screenshot on my phone somewhere and had to post it here because it really speaks to me
Zoozve, my beloved
"...we don't live in a big clockwork, we live in a dance club..."
This is my favorite line.
It is now called Zoozve :')

While Bell can't believe she just did that, Leo remembers her wishes of not starting anything.
The fun thing about the short story collection The King in Yellow (classic of horror/weird fiction that was an influence lovecraft) is that only the first 4/10 are about the titular cursed play. The next few are unrelated weird fiction, but then the last couple have absolutely no speculative elements. Just stories about young artists falling in love in Paris, but told in the same narrative voice as the horror stories, in a collection which has "Tales of Mystery and The Supernatural" on the cover, which produces roughly this effect:
letâs be real the pressure to use AI as an adult is exactly what they said the pressure the do drugs as a teenager would be like but the people that told us that caved immediately for the AI and definitely did not just say no

Saw this frame on a different reblog by @thatssroughbuddy but why does it look like Iroh is using his phone to take a photo of his nephew at a landmark
"Uncle, make sure you get that glowy light in the picture and send it to my dad to let him know I'm about to capture the Avatar!"
This was so cute I had to draw it
and of course Iroh is doing what-
!!!!!!
Iroh posts it on social media with some caption like "look at my beautiful nephew" and Zhao comments like "is that the Avatar in the background?"
And Iroh responds, "no, it's the northern lights."
This is insanely funny to me and now:
Googled something about quick hydration and it suggested big jug of water, couple tbsp pickle juice, dash of lime juice.
Its surprisingly tasty????
Pleased to report that after a day of this i am not longer craving caper brine and my mouth is not dry as usual. There's some good suggestions in the notes too that I want to try.
-ancient roman posca: water, red or white wine vinegar, honey, salt, herbs (coriander, mint, thyme)
-switchel: water, ginger, vinegar, sweetener, lemon, salt
-ayran: yogurt, water, salt, mint
-Agua pepino: water, cucumbers, lime, sugar, optional mint.
I have been reminded of:
-shrub: vinegar, sida water, elderberry (or other berry), sugar.
I have now been informed of
-sekanjabin: honey, vinegar, mint, water.
"Wow, I wonder why this post was popular this week."
-sees the reports of the heatwave in Europe-
"... ah."
be pro-aging but wear sun screen. sun protection is not beauty industry propaganda it will save you. wear it. or else.
The (European) sun is a deadly laser, stay safe everyone
âïžđ€ itâs because the further you move toward the earthâs poles, the lower the angle of the sun is at the hottest parts of the day, meaning the radiation hits your whole body, causing it to feel 10-20 degrees warmer than the thermometer reading will tell you. People from tropical climes, aka close to the equator, are used to the sunâs radiation hitting a much smaller target- their head and shoulders.
Also the further you move toward the poles the more pronounced the difference between the length of day and night is. Worst part of a far-north (or south) heatwave is it doesnât get dark long enough for meaningful cooling.
Itâs not the heat. It very literally is the sun.
