Hello! I've been very busy lately but I managed to make a minecraft cow using blockbench. Who knows, I might turn it into a mod!
real portal by LavaBladez
The Ocean Queen 🌊✨
I made a little storybook like fanart from the start of the Empires SMP Musical.
It was flippin amazing, I just have to make a fanart.
Your obligatory compilation
Minecraft inspired d&d items, but make them Thaumcraft
day 4, and 5, of my realistic minecraft blocks series. Respawn anchor and beacon!
I also posted these on my twitter @/rottencavity
posts this on main in 2021 because i have no shame anymore
just me and doggy (i love the block game (tm) )
what if the creepers were the previous generation of villager’s defense system that were replaced by the more advanced iron golems causing these units to be abandoned and left to rust and overgrown with moss
with the operating system deteriorating with time, these units no longer function properly, becoming a hunk of metal filled with explosive faulty electrical components wandering the earth, becoming a hostile mob themselves
“kill them with kindness” WRONG! nether dimension

actually, related thought. what do yall think the line between testificate and human/player is? because yoglabs, kind of as a whole, implies they're the same at least on a mental level, and the cannibalism thing implies they're the same species, but they're also treated like a completely different... mob? i guess? what's up with that
I think that there's two ways you could go about it.
In the base game, the end poem is all about dreams, how the game is the universe dreaming about itself and all that--and the players are the dreamers, right? and villagers aren't dreamers, they're being dreamed about. Like how there are other people in your dreams, but they're not real, even if they seem like it in the moment. The felt difference between you, the dreamer, and them, the dreamed about, is that you're the driving force of whatever plot is going on in your head. That's like how the player is the only one to be able to break and place blocks.
If you were to go full immersive mode, then the players could be the only ones with a particular world-bending magic that allows them to carry massive weights and squish matter into blocks. In that sense, "player" would be like a D&D class, where humans and dwarves and aliens could all acquire this ability. Through this logic, "villager/testificate" is like a D&D race (and if I were to incorporate this thought logic, I think Ravs would be one, because his skin had a villager nose). And, like in D&D, NPCs get treated like they're totally different from the players because you can't completely divorce yourself from meta-gaming, even if in the fiction they aren't any different.
I think that the second one is how the old Yogscast series tended to see things. Villagers/testificates are like piglins--they're specific mobs, totally sentient, and separate from humans. Not all players are humans (Honeydew is a dwarf, Teep is a dinosaur, etc.) and not all humans are players (see: the NPCs in SOI).
that was 100% me.
have you by chance done the warped forest yet? it's one of my favorite biomes aesthetically, along with deep dark, the tundra/snowy variants, and end cities
I think I have but I think its in need of an upgrade so hopefully this is better!
have you done a dark oak forest/mushroom island/fields backpack :O ? if not, could you? if thats ok!!! im absolutely in love with your designs theyre so packed with details and lovely to look at
Thank you!! I 'm so glad you like them!
I went with a babushka style dark oak forest backpack. The pack also has a scarf and hood part of it! I don't know how practical that'd be tho
