Hit the 20,000-mile mark on February 11th, 2018. It was only a little over a year ago when this trusted machine hit the 6,000-mile mark and yet here it is on this day.
Hoping for many fruitful and safe miles ahead on this reliable steed.
Achieved the 6,000-mile milestone on the evening of January 7th, 2017. All trouble-free miles.
Had to point-out the temperature on that particular date. 21°F, that’s -6°c in the metric world.

The somewhat LCD-overkill design of the redesigned 4th-Generation Honda Odyssey, encompassing the 2014-, 2015-, and the 2016-model years. As shown in the picture above, there are 3 LCDs, each showing a different set of information as part of the vehicle’s overall Infotainment System.
The two big LCDs are overly redundant in my opinion, for it can be combined into one display that handles all the visual information that the driver and/or passenger(s) need while operating the vehicle.
On the other hand, certain knobs particularly that of the Volume knob is a welcome feature instead of the current-design philosophy of Honda to replace it with a touch-screen type like that found on its newest-for-2016 models such as the Honda Pilot, Honda Civic and even the Honda Fit and Honda HR-V.
Dropped by this local Honda dealer in the area to check out the 2016 Honda Pilot. It was good to capture the Pilot parked beside its little sibling, the CR-V with the same color to boot.
Full Disclosure: This is the dealership with which we tried to do business with in getting the all-new Pilot, perhaps the one pictured above. Got a good price offer from their Internet Sales Team and ready to sign the paperworks to seal the deal. But a day before the purchase, received a call from their so-called Sales Director, giving the information that he is rescinding the agreed-upon price, claiming that their Internet Sales Associate made a mistake with the price. He said that he is selling the Pilot for MSRP, firm.
Obviously this dealership lost our business.

The 2016 Honda Civic is one hot machine, especially when wearing a Ferrari Red color. It's good that the company quickly learned its lessons from the previous generation by making sure that this will never go down the same path and earn the thumbs-down of buyers and experts alike.
Our 2016 Honda Pilot EX-L turned its first 1,000 miles on January 6th, 2016. Was driving on the Bypass when the dashboard shot was taken. Everyone knows that it's risky, but hey, sometimes a man's gotta do what he has to do.
Here's to a hundredfold, even a thousandfold miles ahead!
