Not me wanting to retcon my own OC lore because DANG IT Sano would be such a good addition to Jumpscare’s agency/family. He’d be a great uncle/brother for Aki and I know Yasuda would love to get to work with his bro, and Jumpscare would be delighted to have him.

And like. I know him dying is literally the whole point. If he survived then none of the other three would have ever found each other. It’s because he died and can’t be there with them that they’re there for each other and they even have this little family in the first place.

My sustained investigation:

How can I portray a character or person’s evolving identity through visual metaphors and composition? I wanted to grow my storytelling capabilities through not just character design, but intentionally fuller, more colorful and visually interesting pieces. My characters have such complex lives and I needed ways to depict them. Through new mediums and approaches, I explored ways to convey their emotions, growth, and experiences. Visual metaphors interested me for their capability to provoke viewers to think about the subject’s story as a whole and see accurate glimpses of their personalities.
