The ground slapped wetly against her feet as she ran as fast as she could, mud splattering her beaten and bruised legs. She panted and her lungs burned with her broken body, but she couldn’t stop. She wouldn’t. She didn’t dare turn to look behind her, that would just slow her down.

She was on the verge of tears, panic threatening to take over her. She sees road in the distance and a smile graces her lips. Hope flutters in her heart.
She blinks and next thing she knows, she bumping into someone. She screams, falling backwards away from the potential danger, but then realizes it’s another woman.
“Oh my god! Please! Help me!” She holds onto the stranger for dear life, “Someone’s chasing me, trying to kill me! You’ve gotta get me out of here!”
The stranger holds her and tries to calm her down, “Hold on, it’s okay, what’s your name?” she asks as she guides her to sit in the passenger seat of her car.
“M-My name....” she closes her eyes, swallows, and takes a deep breath, “My name is Gabbie.”
“Alright, Gabbie. My name is Marsha. You’re gonna be okay. We’re gonna get you to safety, okay?” She smiles, but it doesn’t quite reach her eyes.
“Thank you! Thank you!” Gabbie’s heart swells in relief and she settles into the parked car on the road, while the curly haired woman climbs into the driver’s side.
Marsha looks over at the girl, sees what state she’s in, and questions her, her brows furrowing, “Can you tell me what happened?”
Gabbie let’s a few tears fall, everything suddenly overwhelming, her adrenaline running out, “I was walking home and I was pulled into an alley. I don’t remember what happened after until I woke up in what looked like a bunker. I didn’t have any shoes or anything, just this tank top and shorts.” She sniffs, picking at her shirt, not really wanting to be wearing them anymore, and turns to her rescuer, “I heard a voice on the intercoms and he told me to run!” She couldn’t help it. The tears welled in her eyes and the sobs come out uncontrollably.
Marsha reaches a hand out and rubs the girls back, “It’s okay. You don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.”
Gabbie wipes the tears away, “No, No. I need too, you saved me.”

She sees a smile on her face, and this time she notices the crinkles reach her eyes. Her cold, crazed, eyes.
She rushes to open the door, pulling the handle and pushing the door, but it wouldn’t budge. The killer bursts out laughing.

She groaned, holding her stomach. Y/N swiveled around just in time to see a guy walk through the door. One she truly, utterly, wished she hadn’t.
Her face instantly turned to a scowl and she turned back around. But it was too late, he’d already caught a glimpse of her.

He made sure to grab a pen and the little notepad he kept in one of his drawers to write down information he deemed most important. His call was answered almost immediately, no doubt the office was less than busy at this time of night. Sam hung up the phone and tore the paper from the notepad. Staring at the paper, he didn’t quite expect his night to go like this. His nights were mostly relaxing on the couch after having some dinner, scrolling through movies to watch. Sam’s life was quiet, like crickets quiet, in the romance department. No lady to look after. Unless you count work because he was basically married to it.
Case after case, Sam was definitely occupied most of his time. To be honest, he never really thought about dating. Work took most of his time, he’d have none left for someone else. Well, at least now he had something interesting to change up his schedule a bit.
Sam sighed, rubbing a hand down his face, and walked back into the living room. He’d been too busy staring and memorizing all the things he needed to do and get, he didn’t notice the naked and shivering woman laying on his couch until he stopped right in front of her and looked up.
His eyes widened. She whimpered, curling into a ball, trying to get more warmth.
“What the hell?” Sam didn’t know what to do. What just happened to the cat on his sofa? Why is there a woman there instead? Why isn’t he turning his eyes away from her clearly naked form?
He slapped a hand over his eyes and reached for a bigger blanket. When he got her covered, he took a step back. He was in shock. He was confused. Was this reality? Or was he just in some sort of dream state that he was making up as he went? He had no time to dwell on it when she groaned and her eyes began to blink open.
His eyes caught hers for a split second. He could of sworn they looked slit like a cat’s would have been but she blinked again and suddenly they were a normal, beautiful, Y/E/C. His attention refocused on the fact that there was a naked woman instead of a dying cat that scrambled to the wall and hissed at him, her back arching. If his eyes didn’t know any better, he’d say she was a feline.
Sam put his hands up in the air, showing her that he wasn’t going to hurt her. He inched forward and she pressed herself farther into the corner until she had no more room to do anything. Sam took his jacket off, offering it to her slowly. When she didn’t take it, he set it on the ground in front of her and backed away.
She sent daggers his way before she eyed the piece of cloth. Slowly, she peeled herself from the wall, sniffed the air and grabbed his jacket. She brought her nose to the fabric, her eyes rolling behind her eyelids and wrapped it around herself. Her skin was littered in goosebumps.
Sam smiled and cleared his throat, “May I ask your name?”
His voice was low and calm, something she instantly took comfort in. She didn’t answer though which made Sam furrow his brow. Did she even talk?
“Um, my name is Sam Winchester.” He chanced moving to sit on the couch, “I’m not gonna hurt you, I just need to make sure you’re alright. Okay?”
For some reason she felt like he meant it. She didn’t know this person, never seen him in her life, but she knew enough about the world she was still cautious. Her mouth opened and closed like she wanted to speak but she wasn’t used to the human body yet.
Sam got up quickly, making her jump back as he left the room. He returned with a bottle of water. He twisted the cap and set the bottle down on the coffee table in front of them. She hesitantly reached for it, chugging the water once she had a sip. The bottle crunched under her fingers and she placed it back on the table, releasing an ‘ahh’ sound when she was done.
Sam waited patiently. Internally he was freaking out. He couldn’t possibly understand the situation right now but if he took her anywhere and explained that this woman was just in the form of a cat, he’d be sent to the psych ward or something.
Her voice cracked when she tried speaking. She tried again, this time getting a satisfactory result, “My name is Y/N.”
