After getting kicked out of the Jaeger Program Jake really never got another chance to speak to Stacker.  People are always telling him how of him Stacker would be now and yeah he appreciates it to an extent. Sometimes it does feel like people have put him in a bit of a hole of being compared to someone who evolved into more legendary war hero than person who lived, breathed, and parented Jake and Mako. It frustrates him sometimes.

     Lee was always like this around him. All sputters and nerves. Jake nearly laughed. Part of them wanted to film this, this man who they usually saw doing a pretty good job on stage or in the movies a cute kind of mess in front of him. Then again Jake’s not exactly sure he’s seen Lee out of party mode so knowing that he just always reacted to Jake that way was almost sweet.

Upon a second viewing of Pacific Rim Uprising, I’ve determined my intial Jake Pentecost is a leo observation was inaccurate, the second one, has firmly cemented the fact he’s an aries.
