GetBackers: Silent Affection by aruki

Back in 2007 when I actually cosplayed and felt young.

I was Amano Ginji (the entire outfit was made by a tailor I brought like fifteen reference pictures too) and my best friend at the time was Ban.

The get backer’s sign was faithfully reproduced from a stamp sized sign in the manga. I worked for hours on it to make it perfect.

The people at Anime North, despite my showing them the manga panel, told me to either remove all hints of “solicitation” from it or to destroy it, so I had to mangle it just so we could hold it.

My sister, Hebbycakes, was Harley from Pokemon. She looks incredible.

Have you guys heard of Manga Box app?

It's free English manga reading app that DeNa launched this month available on itunes and Google play. They have works of both GetBackers creators so you guys might be interested.

GB artist Rando Ayamine is back with District Hakkenshi [code:T-8]. He's a writer now though. I don't know why he stopped drawing (since I love his art) but eversince he came back, he's the on in charge of the story. But the art had similarities with GB and his previous works. The genre of Hakkenshi is the same as GB and the leads kinda look like younger Ban and Teshimine.

GB writer Yuya Aoki has two series: Area no Kishi Bangai-hen: Enokō Early Days (Coach Iwaki's story!) under pen name Hiroaki Igano; and Kindaichi Case Files: Takato's Side under pen name Seimaru Amag. Geez he has too many names!

I'm actually excited with the story of Coach Iwaki because I'm a huge fan of Area no Kishi manga. The update isn't as fast as the others though. They've released chapter 1 last December 4 and the next would be Dec 25. Others are weekly.
