I just finished season 2 of Dalgliesh and it’s unbearable how tragic and unhappy he is😭 I wonder if things would get better for him in season 3 though… I think like many people after AKOTSK I moved on to watch Doctor Foster and now this - and I just love how versatile Bertie’s acting is - he’s not stuck in one stereotypical role but is very diverse in every show he’s in!

Oh, I think you'll enjoy his story arc in season 3 :)

And yes! As Bertie himself said: there is a certain thematic link, I guess, you could draw between things that I've ended up doing (...). But basically if you put all the characters in a gallery together, I don't think anyone would go 'that was the same actor' and I'm so proud of that.
