A) The image shows a skeleton with the words “radical reform” on its green cape, attacking a woman who is protecting a rock with the words “religion” printed. The skeleton appears to have an army of different beings who are all waving white flags with different sayings on them. The title for the image seems to be “DEATH or LIBERTY.” There are few colors in this image. The woman has yellows, reds, her shield has blues. The rest of the drawing seems to have no color, lots of gray and black
B) I think that this image is a warning sign to people. The images represented here are showing that there needs to be reform and that although it will be bloody, the law is being challenged and something needs to be done about it. The words that are used in this image really hint to its audience. I think that there were too many words used and it really takes away the overall interpretation of what is being drawn up in this image
C) I think that with any image, it only projects what the creator wants you to see. Perhaps this information that is being presented is completely irrelevant and not occurring as the creator thinks it to be and has now cause panic in which was unnecessary.
D) the message that this image is representing is that the Constitution is being threatened and that radical reform is going to occur if religion is overcome. Whether or not this is actually the case, the illustrator is quite frankly fearing for the take over of the United States..
The poem talks about how a king is essentially power hungry and is willing to do whatever it takes and have a fighting army, discussing that religion needs to be forgotten about and that is worth fighting for.
I think that the lens that we see images connects to Ozymandias and how background knowledge behind a certain photo can have many different interpretations and reasons involved with the images.
