Hello, YouTube! I am a fox who loves to play video games, especially VR and Retro games. I often like to record myself while playing, so I created this channel to share my videos with the world! I am mostly doing this as a "hobby", but I want to reach out and start a community, so I try to keep my content professional. This is the new program I am using to try and chronicle my life, recording all my thoughts and dreams and accomplishments. Ive tried MyInfo, a personal Website, this very Tumblr blog, and all have fell somewhat short. Notion feels like a very good match for what I want to accomplish. I'm still in the process of testing it out, but I love what I've seen so far, and I am very hopeful for the future. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to record there own life, or anyone who needs a good note-taking program and are tired of Evernote.

Plans Moving Forward

I know I haven't been as attentive of this blog as I would have liked. I keep having large gaps where I don't post anything for months at a time. Sometimes I feel like I'm struggling to find something to post, and there are many things that I can't post - not since Tumblr's infamous porn ban. I wanted something more substantial, where I could record my thoughts, ideas, and accomplishments. That's why I stared looking into note taking and journaling software.

Lately I've been looking into note taking software, like Evernote, Microsoft's One Note, and Google Keep. I wanted this type of digital journal where I could record and cronical the events of my life, much like I have been doing with this Tumblr blog. That's when I found Notion. Right now I'm still in the process of testing it out, but so far it seems like a perfect match.

Dose this mean I will be posting less on this blog in the future, as I take to recording everything in Notion? Honestly, at this point, I do not know. I've never had too many followers for this blog, none of the people in my life have bothered to check it. I have gotten a few notes here and there, that weren't from porn-bots, but not too many. That didn't deter me though, as ultimately I created this blog for myself. I didn't care if anyone else saw it.

However, if I find that Notion works better for what I want to do, should I still keep this blog going? I really don't know. I like having a public record of my work, that I can direct anyone to should they be interested. I also love Tumblr's format and the community around this platform, all-be-it a fair chunk of that community left with the porn-ban. Ultimately I must do what is best for myself, my personal well-being, and my continued happiness.

If I had more followers, or got more people to look at my blog, I would be tempted to keep it, but I don't see that changing anytime soon. It also may be that I don't like Notion nearly as much as I thought, and prefer to stay with Tumblr. At this point, I think it's best just to wait and see...

The lake is probably one of the most iconic landmarks in The Witness, and for good reason. It serves as sort of a central hub for the entire island. It's geography also holds a secret, which I will not give away here. You can also clearly see the mountain from the lake, which is another focal point for the island. Here are some photos of the lake, and the island from the mountain.

There is one area of The Witness that is kind of hard to explain. It's mostly a collection of metallic buildings, built in this swamp like region, with grated catwalks between the buildings. I'm not sure what this place is supposed to be, or how it fits in with the narrative that the statues seem to be telling. But from what I can tell, it has something to do with the production of paints or dyes? I have no clue.

There is this entire section of the island in The Witness that has this East-Asian vibe to it. I managed to get a few good screenshots around in that area, but I wish I could have gotten more.
