“As am I.” Kylo Ren admitted. “Though I’m sure those damn rust buckets are watching my every move.” He mused, catching eyes with BB-8 as the droid rolled past the open door. He looked offended, but merely turned from the knight and rolled away.

He sighed, “Not particularly.” He replied. “She can barely look in my direction, Rey.”

“Well, she’ll have to speak to you some time or another. I imagine she’ll be at the trial.”

Kylo Ren sighed, now at the base with Rey and his mother who he couldn’t even face. He sat on the bed in the room she gave him, now wearing clothes that were not unlike the ones anikan wore as a jedi. Dark brown, not light like several others. The new attire felt weird but it least it helped his mother to even look in his direction. He sat with his knees up, hands hanging down when he felt a presence. “Rey.” he said. “Come in.”

“This is pretty low security, I’m surprised,” Rey said when she entered the room. It was more of a bed room tan a cell. Rey was sure there was some sort of security system keeping an eye on him, but she had been expecting something a lot more advanced.

“Have you spoke to your mother yet?”

"Don’t be so certain. You may think you won’t join me now, Rey..“ He starts with a low mutter. Brows raising at her words. It is interesting to see how Rey was fighting back – always made him amused. She was weak; and although she was weak with information and dried out of being a benefit to them.. there was no denying that he wanted to try manipulating her and getting her to join their side. Does this not surprise you, though? It was one of the things that Hux wanted to try his hand at. He could convert her.. he just needed to try his hand at it. You know?

Clearing his throat, he keeps tall as he looks to Rey again. Smirking from ear to ear, he clutches his hands together and tilts his head to the side. "Consider it, Scavenger.. you are alone. Weak. The Resistance has not come for you.” Clearing his throat, he [nearly] glares at Rey and exhales. “FN-2187 is a traitor.. a weakling who could not protect you. Letting out a quick sigh, Hux pauses. "Ren, on the other hand, is too damaged to consider attacking you. If you joined out side, there is a guarantee that this will change.” This is something he knows will change… or maybe not! It depended on what Snoke had planned, really!

“Join the First Order, and getting pay back at the Resistance will be no problem. Leaving you to rot – how much more horrific can they be?” Hux lets out a deep breath and keeps his eyes on Rey. Knowing very well that she would pick the latter. But it was worth a shot. “Consider how getting back at the Resistance will feel. Ren may have harmed you and your friends - but your harm can only stem your hatred. Ren will get what he deserves if you join our side, Scavenger..”

He really did not understand her at all. It was almost funny. Even if the Resistance could not come to her rescue she would not abandon them. She had made her first friends with them. She had found something almost like a family with them. While she could say whether they would try and save her or not, it didn’t matter. She would come back to them until they told her that she wasn’t wanted.

On the other hand, the First Order had done nothing but make her life hell. Everyone from the lowly stormtoopers to the general himself seemed bent on harassing her. If this was their normal recruitment methods, then they had a lot of work to do.

“Without much feeling on the matter Rey told him, “No. If I’m going to take down Ren than I’ll do it on my own terms. I have no interest in joining you, General. That’s final.”
