Wishful Thinking, Journaling Outdoors, & Friendly Reminders to Yourself, the Writer: Days 28-30 of journaling-junkie's September challenge I'm thinking even if I do subsequent months, I won't post every day, if at all. Life is taking some crazy turns for sure!! But here's hoping it straightens out soon. 😊

PSA: Do not remove captions/links from original posters!

When you reblog someone’s original work but remove all traces of their blog before posting - such as removing the original caption and blog name/link - that is just plain wrong. It basically removes the trace of whose work it is, unless someone dug through the notes to find the first post. :\ It's super discouraging for that original writer/artist, as they now see their work circulating with no clear attribution.

Maybe that caption means something special with that post, and removing it takes away from what the artist/writer intended. It’s cutting off part of their work! (And at the very least, you’re still removing their info from their post.)

While not quite as bad as reposting (by downloading then reuploading a work so it looks like your own), it still is not what anyone wants to see happen to their work!

So please, be considerate when reblogging! (Plus it’s quicker for you to simply reblog as is!)

what I find most hilarious about the whole rename-movie-with-adjective thing is that when the disney marketing department renamed “Basil of Baker Street” to “The Great Mouse Detective” because it was a less ambiguous title, the story artists actually came up with an entire backlist of renamed movies and sent around a fake memo under the president of the animation department’s name saying they’d all been given new titles
