Canadian North Boeing 737-200, Painted in the old “Proud Wings” Canadian Airlines livery, 2011(?)
Delta Air Lines - McDonnell Douglas MD-90 (Colors in Motion, unknown photographer) - Delta Flight Museum
Douglas DC-9 Prototype (Eastern Airlines, N901E, Unknown Photographer)
Broken up 1995 after retirement and 2 re-registrations.
Eastern Airlines DC-9 (Brand Guidelines, Lippincott & Margulies, 1964)
McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30 (Japan Air System, JA8551, Contri on Flickr), Taken unknown. - it was later repainted with a special livery and was dubbed the "Peter Pan Flight"
this plane went on to be sold alongside JAS's other DC-10 to Northwest Airlines in 2000 (reregistered as N244NW), then sold again to Omni Air (again re-registered as N531AX), before being scrapped in 2016.
It's sibling, JA8550, would go on to operate for Harlequin Air, JAS' subsidiary airline for a while, before they would of course be sold to Northwest Airlines.
8550 however, has a happy ending: it's currently still in active service as a Fire Tanker plane, and will likely remain that way for years to come.
Vintage Japan Airlines Executive Class ad, ft. Janet Jackson & The Nation, and the beautiful Japan Airlines 747-400.
Various photos of Rick Rojatt, also known as "The Human Fly", and his Ex-Japan Airlines Douglas DC-8 (formerly JA8002), flown by Clay Lacy. (Various photographers)
This plane has actually been only documented publicly once while still in operation by JAL in that livery for the airline (October 10th, 1971, Mr. Hummingbird, FlyTeam.jp), the rest of the photos of JA8002 were of the old livery.
in future uses of JA8002, the plane would be stripped of it's JAL colors and flown exclusively in a rough bare metal silver look
it was last seen in the Mojave desert in 1984, and it's US Registration N420AJ expired in 2012.
McDonnell Douglas DC-10-40 (Japan Airlines JA8544), Auckland Int'l Airport - NZAA, New Zealand (Jon Proctor), November 5th, 1985.
