“Why would anyone spend their time ‘spreading Christmas joy for all to hear’ when they could just not?”
Hercules, Meg, Kristoff
Fuck: “Meg? Sure, why not. Could be a fun time.”
Marry: “I could marry Hercules, I guess…I’d just have to learn to deal with his constant bravery and chivalry. Disgusting.”
Get drunk with: “Krstoff–the reindeer guy, right? Might be interesting to see what a giant oaf like that does when he’s drunk.”
Lily, Meg, Elizabeth
Fuck: “Gothel might be fun in bed once or twice. Not sure I could commit to more than a one night stand, though–she’d take a lot of work to deal with.”
Marry: “Meg. She seems to hate people as much as I do.”
Get drunk with: “Princess Winterson…is she even legal for any of these options? How old even is she?”
“I suppose I can understand why. I doubt there are unicorns at sea,” she chuckled softly as she did her best to avoid rocks and fallen branches. She cast a glance over her shoulder at the older man to give him a smile, looking at him for the first time since they left the palace. “Though I’m quite sure you’ve seen your fair share of mermaids and other sea creatures, am I right, Captain?” Lily had never seen a mermaid before, or any other sea creature, as she wasn’t allowed a certain distance from the palace unless on duty, but she heard from others how beautiful they were. However, she hoped that one day she would greet the sea for the first time and perhaps be gifted with the sight of one. “I have once. When I was much younger,” she nodded her head, the smile growing wider at the memory. “It was the most beautiful and graceful creature I had ever laid eyes on. Luckily I was quiet enough not to scare it away despite how I longed to greet it. I can’t recall ever staring at something for such a long period of time.” Taking notice to how fast she seemed to be walking than the older man, she slowed down her pace in order to walk beside him. “Tell me, Captain. What is the sea like? Is it as beautiful and as wild as they all say? Have you any sea creatures you favor?” Lily questioned curiously.
“Not many, no--I’d be worried if I ever saw a unicorn out in the middle of the ocean, if I’m being frank with you,” James managed to reply. He’d never been very skilled with small talk (he supposed it was one of the downsides of practically growing up as a rejected, unwanted orphan), so all these false niceties with Verden’s youngest princess-in-training was...vile, to say the least. It wasn’t that Princess Winterson herself was despicable (he’d met far worse, no doubt), it was that James had virtually nothing interesting he could speak with the raven-haired girl about. He didn’t know how to fake kindness and sincerity when those traits were absent from nearly every aspect of his life.
“Mermaids and other sea urchins I come across frequently...magical land dwellers? Not so much.” He cocked his head as the princess explained her rare sightings of these pure magical creatures, and by the time Princess Winterson was deigning to inquire as to whether or not he’d come across any favorable sea creatures, it took every ounce of willpower James possessed to keep from snorting and rolling his eyes. Fat chance. “The sea is beautiful...its inhabitants, not nearly as much. I fear the merpeople and other magical creatures irk me, more than anything else. They’re dreadfully curious, annoying creatures; always observing you from a distance.”
“As a species, we are very prone to happily forgetting our worries and pretending they don’t exist. Luckily, a small few of us have taken up the take task of reminding the rest — ever so gently, of course — that their troubles are not so far behind them as they’d like to think. So really, who’s to say?”
”Personally, I don’t like gambling nearly as much as making sure the cards are shuffled correctly the first time. Makes the outcome far neater and more personally satisfying.”
“Ever so gently? I’m starting to get the feeling that gentle nudges and reminders won’t wake the masses out of their dreamy, ditzy slumbers. I’m growing tired of watching humanity continuously fuck up; it makes me even more antsy to separate and isolate myself from society. Just me and my ship.”
“Interesting outlook and perspective on life you have, madame. Is it one you came up with on your own, or are you adopting another’s philosophy?”
“It would seem things are starting to calm down again; will humanity prove itself predictable and use this time of peace to completely forget about all of Maleficent’s warnings, or will they heed her threats and do something about it?”
“My money’s on the former, personally.”
“Shh,” Lily held up a finger to her lips as she looked back when she heard her companion step on a large stick, the loud crack filling the quiet air of the forest. “Not too loud or we’ll scare off the unicorns.” While she wasn’t sure if there were any in the nearest vicinity, if there was one, she didn’t want it to run away before she had the chance to get a glimpse of it. Lily then lifted her dress to carefully climb over a large tree trunk, being mindful of her bare feet as to not cut them on the rough wood. “Have you ever seen a unicorn before, My Lord?” She asked in a hush voice as she looked around in hopes of spotting one.
James was extraordinarily tired of talking to the various members of royalty who dwelled in Verden, but if he was ever going to guarantee himself immunity from being tied to Maleficent or the rest of her minions, then he knew he had to play nice with some of the royalty scattered throughout the magical realm. Princess Lily, easily the youngest of the nobles, would surely be the easiest to sway. At least, that was his intention.
“...Right, of course,” he grumbled, glancing down at the forest floor as a branch and leaves crunched underfoot. He resisted the impulse to roll his eyes and snort. Unicorns--who cared about unicorns? “I can’t say I’ve ever seen one, your highness, no. Have you?”
“I figured since insults are the only thing you’re good at, and even saying that is a bit of a stretch, that I should show some appreciation for them.”
“I’d say I earned your contempt honestly.”
“The only thing I’m good at? Tell me something, boy, are you always so blatantly obtuse and ignorant about everything, or am I just a very special circumstance for you?”
“You’ve earned my contempt justly. There’s a difference.”
“Funny, I was thinking the same thing about having to see your ugly mug around some more.”
“What? You can’t even come up with your own original insults now? You have to steal mine for reference, too?”
“Is there anything you earn honestly, Pan?”
JAMES EVERETT - ISTJ / “The Logistician”
“ISTJ personalities are no-nonsense, and when they've made a decision, they will relay the facts necessary to achieve their goal, expecting others to grasp the situation immediately and take action.”

“A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn’t strive to protect others’ freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions.”
“That was some ball, huh? i guess you could say it was killer. Or is it still to soon for jokes like that?”
“You survived, Pan? Pity.”
Meg raced through the crowd as soon as the first living corpse came up, not even paying attention to where she was running. She had been warned of this, everyone on the side of the dark faerie had, but it was still a frightening sight. And while the faerie knew who was on her side, her undead warriors did not, and if the myths were true, they would attack anyone in their way. So, as she raced through the sea of screaming royals and crying commoners, Meg held her bow and arrow tightly, making sure she didn’t lose the one part of her costume she may actual need for the rest of the night. It was as she was jogging up the stone stairs of the palace that someone ran straight into her, causing her to lose her footing and fall back, her hand catching the railing as she made a face at the person who ran her down.
“Oh, I had no idea I was in the way of royalty! My mistake. Though I suggest watching where you’re going. It’s a little crowded now, since Maleficent let in a few unwanted guests. But, go right ahead and run into a lady while saving your own skin. Very chivalrous.”
It all came in such a rush; one moment, James had been off by himself, hiding in the shadows and observing the event from an isolated standpoint. And the next, Celine had unleashed her hoard of monsters on the living. It was unlike anything the captain could have possibly expected--even for someone like Maleficent--and he regarded the ghoulish spectacle before him with jaw-dropping astonishment. He had so many questions to pose; so many things he wanted to know. How had she managed to pull this off? And who, exactly, would make it out of Prince Naveen’s costume ball alive? Realizing he needed to get a move on and dive for safety before learning the answers to his questions the hard way, James shoved away from the wall, gripped his sword tighter (thank God he’d chosen to opt for a viking suit), and then shoved his way through the frantic, screaming crowd.
So overwhelmed with pushing and pulling through the throng of people, James paid very little attention to the people he tore down in the process. It was only when a brunette, clearly irritated by his aggressive moments, chose to speak up and distract James from his goal of running to safety. Because the last thing he needed to deal with when he was currently sprinting for his fucking life was to run into some dame who thought executing a bit of gentlemanly manners at a time of crisis was the appropriate thing to do.
God. Women.
“If you hadn’t noticed, princess, no one is watching where they’re going,” James snapped, glancing over his shoulder to glare at the saucy young woman. “I hardly think this is the time for manners. And chivalry’s dead, kid--stop pretending a man’s going to hold the door open for you when he’s about to have his soul sucked out of his chest.”
(Based on the tags between you and Sheridan) Peter & James!
((As James and Peter are half-brothers, I’ll be answering this in the fashion of their typical non-romantic/antagonistic relationship and therefore won’t be tagging it with an inc*st trigger warning.))
big spoon/little spoon: Peter tries to slip into bed and jokingly fit himself as the big spoon. James scowls and shoves Peter off the mattress and immediately considers bathing in cleaning fluid.
favorite non-sexual activity: Peter has a particular fondness for playing practical jokes on James whenever he’s not looking or is too busy concentrating on something else. James’ favorite activity is grabbing Peter by the scruff of his neck and dangling him over the side of the boat.
who uses all the hot water: James does after long days of working on his ship. He doesn’t find it at all humorous when Peter tries to flush the toilet when he’s bathing, however.
most trivial thing they fight over: If there’s a subject that can be fought over, you’d better believe that James and Peter are going at it.
who does most of the cleaning: James orders Peter to do the cleaning. Instead, Peter starts throwing things overboard. James throws Peter overboard. Cycle repeats.
what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: James likes to have control of everything in relation to his situation with Peter, but what he doesn’t know is that after he’s recorded an entire season of Black Sails, Peter goes in and deletes them all and replaces it with reruns of Spongebob Squarepants.
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: James tells Peter to deal with the cold, and Peter gripes and moans and finds a way to trick the landlord into giving them free heating for an entire month.
who steals the blankets: Steal the blankets? Neither of them share blankets to begin with.
who leaves their stuff around: Peter throws around toys he’s tired of playing with and gadgets he no longer has an interest in. James scowls and tells Smee to keep them.
who remembers to buy the milk: James gets milk for himself. Peter steals it.
who remembers anniversaries: In the words of James Everett--”Fuck anniversaries and fuck Peter Pan.”
WenDY
who cooks normally?: Wendy feels beyond maternal whenever she and James are together (it’s very much so a Wendy Darling thing), so she’ll insist on making all of their meals for him. She’s also very controlling (again, a definite Wendy Darling trademark).
how often do they fight?: They bicker almost endlessly; if James isn’t beyond irritated with something Peter or the other Darling children have done, then Wendy is fussing and nitpicking over something James did earlier that day. Fighting is so common to them that it would be strange if they ceased arguing altogether.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?: James wouldn’t be able to admit it out loud (not even to himself), but...he’d pine for her in her absence. Wendy would sit herself up in her room, gazing out the window and playing with a small flower they’d picked up on one of their afternoon walks together.
nicknames for each other?: James is quite fond of calling her “Darling”, whereas Wendy coos and refers to him as her pirate. (Hers, Tinker Bell and Tiger Lily, not yours; take note).
who is more likely to pay for dinner?: James is, without a doubt. Secretly, Wendy is extremely charmed by it.
who steals the covers at night?: Wendy is terrible about stealing the covers in the dead of night and tangling herself up in them, but if James approaches this about her during daylight hours, she’ll immediately deny his accusations and claim he suffers from vivid dreams and delusions.
what would they get each other for gifts?: Wendy would put a great deal of thought into a gift for James--she’d fret over it for nights and weeks on end, struggling to make sure it was the perfect gift that suited him wonderfully. And even if James acted like he didn’t care, he’d still worry constantly about what to get her for birthday, Christmas, and other holidays.
who kissed who first?: James, on a complete whim that ended up being the best decision of his life.
who made the first move?: Again, this was on James’ part...but Wendy responding positively was what really pushed him forward.
who remembers things?: Both James and Wendy are gifted when it comes to memory recall; Wendy never forgets things she can bring up later, and James remembers every goofy thing she admits or blurts out.
who started the relationship?: It was a mutual thing on both parts; they managed to stumble into the relationship before either one of them fully realized what was going on.
who cusses more?: James, without a doubt. He curses--quite literally--like a sailor. Go figure.
what would they do if the other one was hurt?: James would destroy absolutely anyone who hurt someone he cares about. And Wendy, as fiery and loyal as she can be, would be fiercely protective of anyone who tried to harm James.

JAMES AND GASTON
big spoon/little spoon: Gaston refuses to be anything but the big spoon. James states that he’s no one’s ‘spoon’ at all. Smee and LeFou stare at their respective leaders sadly, jealous of their partners.
favorite non-sexual activity: Fighting. Constant bickering turns into a contest, and suddenly James is wielding his sword and challenging Gaston to a duel, and Gaston’s already picking bear traps out of his bag and screaming for LeFou to set them up. Love: what a twisted, violent thing.
who uses all the hot water: Gaston, obviously–you don’t get hair that perfect with a measly ten minute bathing routine.
most trivial thing they fight over: There’s nothing trivial when it comes to Gaston and James. Everything is fire and more fire and–finally–more fire.
who does most of the cleaning: James keeps his spots on his ship tidy, and Gaston makes sure his person stays pristine. That’s pretty much all that matters, right?
what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue: James hardcore watches Black Sails and Sons of Anarchy, while Gaston secretly records things from the Food Network. For James to cook for him, of course. Gaston’s too manly to cook his own meals. Gaston controls Netflix, but James doesn’t care too much; all he needs to watch is a documentary about crocodiles. You know…for precaution…
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working: Gaston smooth talks his way into free heating. James’ approach is strangling the man until he gives them what they want.
who steals the blankets: Gaston, and James complains about it 24/7. Without pause.
who leaves their stuff around: James is very particular about his things, so when Gaston leaves his coat, shoes, weapons of destruction–you know, typical boy stuff–lying around the ship, James goes into a rage.
who remembers to buy the milk: That’s what Smee and LeFou are for.
who remembers anniversaries: Gaston pretends he doesn’t, but he does. He totally does.
