I’M LATE *sob*

HELLO i am quinn and this is james. he’s a colossal (+ unusually extroverted) nerd, and because of it his family liked to tease him -- he was that one uncool relative they secretly liked anyway due to other things he was “cool” at (in his case, it was book-learning). although he was less at peace with it than he seemed, it was okay until certain persons (e.g. schoolyard bullies) used it as basis for making him believe he was completely hopeless and not attractive to anyone at all and he’d die alone -- that sort of fun stuff. messed up, but said persons were probably not really expecting him to take it as poorly as he did. for the next decade or so, he felt like he had to be an individual he wasn’t -- a cynical, incurious, arrogant one. he started having sessions with a counseling psychologist later on, which helped him with his self-perception. then he found out his partner was cheating on him.... yeah. he now wants “a fresh beginning”, but yeaaah. issues. send a message if you want to plot! :D <3
