"One of these days I shall catalogue all of these strange terms such as 'rizz' and 'maxxing' and name the book 'A Dictionary of Eye-Watering Words'. I do hope said words shall be replaced once again by more sensible ones."
"Correct, each third of a battery is made of a hundred crystalized charges. Just one is a lot of condensed energy. Imagine three hundred for a full battery. And you aren't draining, the batteries can only output so much at a time. It stops dispensing long enough for safety. Otherwise the battery may crack and... Well nothing around is gonna survive that burst of pure energy."
"Just how much energy is in those batteries then? That much energy packed in such a small place... I'm surprised it hasn't collapsed into a kugelblitz. Does it ever run out?"
She seems to do a lot of reading to know what a kugelblitz is. Judging by the size of her pack and the fact that she walked here, she must do a lot of exercising too. She's got nothing on Beedle's bag but hers isn't exactly small. And she's standing as if it's weightless. All that work put together has to have some sort of drawback...
" Leverage? Im saying we're all equal if anything. The wars killed many parents, it doesnt make someone special. All we can do is move on with what we have, not be chained to what we dont. "
"Well it is shockingly easy to misconstrue your comment. Now that it has been cleared up that such an unfortunate assumption is proven false, we may be able to move past this miscommunication."
Purah shook her head. "Oh no, absolutely not. That would break the Law of Conservation of Mass. The device you are thinking of takes Zonai energy and coverts it to water. Well mind you, but only til the energy is used up."
"But... If it adhered to that law, then Zonai batteries would be extremely energy-dense. Tens of orders of magnitude denser than any other known power storage method."
It seems that science is outweighing shyness here.
"And these batteries recharge on their own extremely quickly. What sort of energy are they pulling from?"
Sara cleared her throat and took a breath, trying to ignore how pretty the Sheikah woman was.
"I'm a traveler, yeah... but I'm also really curious about the stuff you're studying here! Is it true that there's zonai devices that can make infinite water?"
She hadn’t sustained any new injuries, least not ones visible. Always kept hidden. Mikoto looked to Sara with a frown. She shifted between her feet, to ease standing on her broken one for too long, as fingers toyed with one of her braids.
"Mikoto... You need to keep an eye on your mobility aid... I can make a temporary one, but we need to get your normal one."
Sara weaves a few handsigns, the sequence somehow suggesting both earth and fire release. After the handsigns are done, she lays her hand on the ground. Out of the ground sprouts what looks less like a cane and more like a pair of metal rods in a crude T shape. She takes it and hands it to Mikoto.
"This isn't going to be comfortable, but it's better than putting your weight on that leg. Criss, Miko, you need to take care of yourself and your things!"
It seems like Sara has been getting more and more frustrated with Mikoto not taking care of herself lately.
