Jamie and I made this blog four years ago today, when we'd been together for 10 months. It was active for a good month before we shit out on it like you'd expect a couple of teenagers to do. Admitting I personally completely forgot about it, we've updated it at least a little. And I know she's keen on checking it a little later. Today, July 7, 2017 is two months from mine and Jamie's 5 year anniversary. In April, I asked her to marry me, and have the privilege to call her my fiancée. She's the best girl I could ask to be in my life. Jamie, I am so lucky to have you in my life, and to have grown into adulthood with you. Exploring polyamory as a teenager has helped me to be confident that you are the person I want to spend forever with in this way. When we were fourteen and I swore one day I'd be marrying you, we both assumed it'd be as lesbians. We've grown so much in that time. Your acceptance throughout my transition has helped me to become someone happy and confident. Your willingness to change and evolve with me has made our resilience shine.
