I’m 1 year post-op today!! I know I always say this but I seriously can’t get over how fast the time has gone! I remember taking the photo on the left at a time in my life when my dysphoria was probably at its worst. The wait to begin my medical transition just seemed impossibly far away. I wanted to have something to look back on when I was eventually able to have surgery and it took a lot for me to be able to post a picture like it. Almost 5 years later, I’m no longer overwhelmed with dysphoria and I’m in the best place I’ve ever been :)

I’ve been at my job for around 6 months now and I can’t get over how much my body has changed! I honestly never thought that I would have been able to stick with it for as long as I have. I almost quit after a few weeks as I was really struggling to cope with it all, but I’m so glad I decided to stay :)
