"None of my books are complicated," Theo answered Jamie with a playful grin that got wider at Jamie's reaction to him pushing Jamie against the countertop. He was maybe a little obsessed with the way Jamie's voice came out all soft like that. Unfortunately before he could act on what he was feeling, they were interrupted by dinner. Theo let out a soft groan. "Guess the memories will have to wait," he said, though he couldn't resist leaning in and giving Jamie a lingering kiss before pulling back. As much as he hated to break apart from Jamie, the dinner was welcome after a hard quidditch match. And it was thrilling just to be here in Jamie's kitchen sharing a meal with him, falling into an easy rhythm of conversation as if no time had passed, Theo playing footsie with Jamie as they sat at his countertop and ate. Once they finished their meal and cleaned up, and chatted a bit more as the sun set, Theo took Jamie's hand and tugged him a little closer. "So...." he began with a playful grin. "Want to show me the rest of the house?"
Jamie had managed to squeeze in a, "This is a memory too though," in between that lingering kiss and them actually sitting down to dinner. Maybe it wasn't as romantic, definitely not as sexy, as whatever Theo had been thinking but it was their first time eating in Jamie's new house. Jamie's too. He liked sharing this first with Theo just as much as he'd enjoyed sharing the first he had at All Stars. But thoughts of those kind were easy to push to the bakc of his mind as they ate and talked. It was easy to be with Theo. It had been since at least his seventh year, more so that year they'd been with the Arrows together. Which had made Theo's absence in his life that much more obvious. But it was a relief to have these moments in addition to the heated ones. He felt his cheeks warm up a touch when Theo asked to see the rest of the house. "Course," was the easy answer along with a smile that matched Theo's. "Well you've seen the living area, dining, and kitchen." He gestured around to the open space they were in before taking Theo by the hand into the hall. "Closet, closet, bath, spare room, I'm thinking of maybe doing a library in here. I don't have that many books though so maybe more of a study I guess." Jamie had pointed out doors but opened the one to the spare room. It was a good size bedroom for a spare with a large closet he could maybe open up or use as storage even though he didn't have a lot of things to store. But he doubted he'd need an extra bedroom, he'd never needed one before. Had Theo not already been very clear he wanted to stay the night, and nearly as clear as to how he wanted to stay, he might have shyly offered it to him. But that was clearly not going to happen so a library or study were likely. He did take a little deeper of a breath before opening the bedroom door, feeling a big nervous. "This is the erm bedroom. There's a bath just in there." Right now it looked a little sad. Just a bed with dark blue bedding and a couple of pillows each between two side tables. There were black curtains on the widows that blocked outside light and the lamp cast a soft glow into the room. He'd packed an overnight bag which was on the floor near the closet.
