Okay. Bigla akong na-adik sa sterling silver infinity necklace. After ko nakita yung giveaway ng ohclothes, it's all I can think about. Hahaha charot! Anyway, infinity sign ang isa sa mga favorite things ko dati pa. Naging parang favorite line ko din yung, 'to infinity and beyond' simula nang narinig ko yan kay Buzz Lightyear sa Toy Story. :)
Sobrang gusto ko na to bilhin. Gustong gusto ko kasi yung manipis yung chain tapos simpleng pendant lang. At dahil silver lang siya, di din siya ganun ka mahal. Shet. Ito na lang gift ko sa self ko this Christmas. Hahaha!

One of my favorite lines in Sex and the City was said by the one and only, Carrie Bradshaw. She said:

Yes. I am one of those people who is crazy enough to believe that such love still exists. I know. It doesn't sound like me. I look tough on the outside. Everybody sees me as someone who's strong, independent and someone who doesn't need to be rescued by some prince charming. When I'm in a relationship, always appear to be the cool girlfriend. I always say that I don't need flowers, surprises, sweet stuff and all that crap. I won't be cheesy and I'm never the clingy one. Don't get me wrong, I am fine with all of these. However, there's this tiny eetsy-beetsy lady bone inside me that's saying that it's all bullsh*t.
It's true. Deep down inside me, I wanna be swept off my feet from time to time. I want breath taking moments. Even if it's just a simple post-it note, I don't care. I want to be reminded of how much I am being loved. I want to hold hands and don't care about how many people are around. I want the random iloveyou message just because the person can't hold it in anymore. I want the hey-please-stay-for-a-little-while kind of moments. I want the goodbye kiss that would make me not want to go. I want it all. I want to feel love as if it's gonna be gone the next day. It's silly, I know, but I have always pictured love that way.
Then there was someone who made it all better. He made me feel that life couldn't be more wonderful as long as we're together.

For almost three months now, I always find myself thinking about this line. Is this the love that I think I deserve? Sad part is, I keep on telling myself that the answer is NO. I know I deserve to feel the love the way I pictured it. But why do I shrug the thought that I am just settling? Why is it that every time I convince myself that this is not the way it should be, I unconsciously soothe myself into thinking that this is exactly the way it should be. I am confused because one moment I am happy then the next I ask myself if I'm really happy.
**I know I love him but I don't know if I love him enough to surpass all the things that happened. I will never forget the night that I started to feel this way. :( What bothers me is that I can't seem to forget. I am trying so hard but I don't know if it's gonna happen-- if I will be able to look at him and see that man that was waiting for me at the post office. I don't know if I will be able to feel what I felt for him when he first said iloveyou. It has been three months and I still find myself trying to put back the pieces. I want to tell him that it still hurts and that the nightmares never stopped. I want to tell him that there are times that I can't even look at him in the eyes 'cause I'm scared that I might just cry. I want to tell him that I am not the person that he fell in love with anymore. I'm unreasonable now. I get mad when I feel like it even when there's no reason to be mad at all. I easily get irritated. I don't call him as often as I did before. I forget things now. I even stopped writing in my journal. This is not me anymore and he doesn't even notice it. :( And the worse of all, I am not as enthusiastic about love as I was before all of these happened. I am never like that. I am always optimistic and certain that that part of my life will go into it's perfect place-- and I am ready to do whatever it takes. But now? I don't know. I feel restless. I don't see myself spending the rest of my life with someone who is madly in love with me anymore. It's as if I have given up on on everything.
Everyday, I ask myself how am I suppose to bring back the old me? How am i suppose to bring back the happy and lovey-dovey me? The one who will keep on trying to make her man happy. The one who sees the good in everything. Sigh. I have no idea-- at all.
So there it is, all the things that I have been keeping for the past months. Petty as it may seem, it's the one thing that is really important to me.. considering that everything else in my life is a complete disaster. Oh well. Bye.
An artist who recently held his sixth solo exhibition, Chris Piascik is also active in the design community. With 6 years of professional experience at award-winning firms in New England, he is currently working as a freelance designer and illustrator. He has been fascinated with design since he discovered his parent’s music collection at a young age.
