Featured Disney character for today:
Megara - Hercules 1997.
Come on now, we all know she's fabulous! Maybe a bit of a diva, but we can forgive for that ;)
What i love most about her is how wonderfully sassy she is. Even when fronted with the hunk that is HUNK-ules she still stays true to herself and doesn't swoon but instead sasses him up! She makes it near impossible for Hercules to charm her and carry away on his magical flying horse. She was ha having NONE of it. (Unlike most of the other princesses who fall in love straight away the first man they see.)
I also love how she doesn't want to be saved (again unlike most other princesses.. I don't have a problem with that i quite like it in a disney way but to have a female not interested). Instead she basically tells Hercules to F-off, he has to force his saviouring skills onto her whether she likes it or not.
She also doesn't declare her love for him to his face until the end of the movie.. Sneaky lady!
She also Throws herself infront of that falling pillar to save the man she loves which is an unseen concept, the woman actually saves the hero!! wow. (yes i know Hercules then goes on to save her, but she couldn't really save herself there as she was almost dead.)
She is also one sexy woman! I can see why Hercules was so desperate to save her and make her swoon, i mean come on!! The beautiful, big purple eyes, the bouncy, long curled hair and not to mention that cleavage!! im getting all hot, i need to go cool down....
AND AND AND She's willing to give up her happiness for her true love? Shit.
What.
A.
Woman.
So empowering!
HOLY DICKZ I AM SEEING YOU IN NOVEMBER AND I KNOW YOU WILL NOT SEE ME BUT I WILL SEE YOU AND IT WILL BE INCREDIBLE.
Look how fucking cute these little guys are!

Day 5 : Favourite Prince
Easy, with out a doubt it HAS to be Flynn Rider (Eugene Fitzherbert)
I mean come on! Lets all face it here, for an animated person Flynn is pretty damn fine... And that's just the beginning!
He's quite different to the other princes before him. He's funny (Ok Aladdin was quite the clown) but with that he's sarcastic, which i just think is great!! He's also wonderfully full of himself, and he doesn't care for anyone else. Through the movie we get to witness his transformation to the caring husband and saviour he becomes, such a charmer!!
LIFE IN THE FOREST
I really liked the cap so…
Day 4 : Favourite Princess
Ok, for this one i'm going to exclude Ariel as Little Mermaid is my favourite movie and that's a little obvious and unfair.
Snow White.
I just love her. i know a lot of modern day feminists complain as she promotes the idea that girls should just wait around for a man to save hem and all they should be doing is floating around singing and cooking.... But i think she's so elegant and a complete sweetie, and i like the whole Disney Princess concept of "some day my prince will come" (not for in real life thats a little pathetic...) I think it adds to the Disney magic.
Not only that, but not only was she the first Disney Princess but she was the first Disney Classic movie, perfect!!
