This is from a couple months ago but I'm really happy that I've been drawing more backgrounds lately. It's exciting to challenge myself and do something new ^^

i was feeling shallow for only drawing characters n no background and went yeah give that butch a home. Mid way i remembered i fucking suck at that shit and put an ibis paint asset for thge ballconmy. Also the sky is kind of lesbian. wasnt intentional and then i realized so now it def is. ALSO i gave ehr a ll happy trial for my own enjoyment cs her ass would propbally be hairless

My wife and I are fans of Drawfee, as well as Jacob Andrews and Julia Lepetit's other show, Secret Sleepover Society. One of our cats, however, is a fan of their cats specifically, Joy and Olive. Whenever we watch one of their gaming videos, he comes up to the television in the hopes of seeing them. I like to imagine that it is The Joy and Olive Show for him, which is what inspired me to paint this piece.

We had the opportunity to see Drawfee live earlier this month, and had a blast! I even got to give Jacob and Julia a copy of this as a print, and I hope that they enjoyed it at least a little bit.
