It’s a Boy!

On Tuesday I will be halfway there!!! 20 weeks! I can’t believe I’ve made it this far, my belly just started to push out. He’s moved up from just above my pelvic bone to below my belly button and I’ve started to feel little kicks! I love it so much. My blood pressure is still high stays around 150/85 I had constant headaches but I added a baby aspirin to my day and it has helped tremendously. He is measuring as he should and is heartbeat is strong i love him so much already.

Found the Heartbeat! <3. So much relief since I’ve been feeling anxious about everything. I go for my second ultrasound July 29th and I’ll be exactly 12 weeks. I plan to order the Sneak Peek test so I can find out the gender earlier then 20 weeks as well.

First Scan!!

Had it at 7 Weeks 5 Days (I am 8 weeks today)

Heartbeat was 150bpm

Doctor said everything looked perfect, measuring exactly as it should. Had my thyroid levels checked and I guess I’m on the higher end of normal so I’m being put on a low dose of synthroid. I’ve also been getting edema in my ankles and shins already so that has me a little worried, she checked my blood pressure and it was alright so I just need to keep an eye it.

My next appointment will be with my doctor close to home which is nice, I’ll either call tomorrow or Friday to get something lined up, I’m not sure if my doctor will even take me as she doesn’t deliver babies anymore and the hospital 1/2 hour from me sometimes doesn’t take IVF babies so if that’s the case I’ll get prenatal care close to home and deliver in Manitoba instead of Sask.

3 years after my first ever BFP and I can for sure say I am pregnant again! I know so much can happen but still feeling so positive about it!!

I took another cheapie with this frer and used fmu instead of smu like yesterday and the line is even lighter then yesterday on the cheapie but as long as it showed up on the frer im good. I will test again in the morning and thursday. just cuz.

I see a line!!!!! I tested on day 5 and it was stark white, tried day 6 and it had a shadow of a line that I was unsure of and now day 7 and there is for sure a line!! Im going to take a frer tomorrow morning and it should have a decent line showing! I go for my first beta on Friday,

I am going to my besites Thursday to get my hair done so I plan to make her a mug that says something about being an auntie and surprising her that way since i get to see her in person so I cant put anything on my private instagram either since shes on there. Then since my parents know im going Friday for my beta they know im going to the lake to stay the night and go to the city with my mom the next morning so theyll be expecting an answer on if it worked or not. If my mom asks before (she said she wants to be told in person even if it didnt work) then ill say they didnt get my results in time so i have to wait till monday. Im going to make a little shirt for my yorkie that says something about becoming a big brother est 2021 or something and he’ll wear it into the house and ill see how long it takes them to notice.

I cannot believe it worked and im pregnant!!!

So I haven’t updated in a while, I had my retrieval done on March 23rd.

20 Retrieved

14 Mature

11 Fertilized

8 Day 5/6 Blasts Frozen

Now just need this Covid19 to F off so I can get my transfer done! I was suppose to have the fresh transfer but with all this going on it got moved to a freeze all cycle. Shitty but I understand, the transfer will be discounted since its not what I had agreed to at the beginning, but I am so glad I had the retrieval done at least, I had 5 grand in injections and if it would have been postponed I would have lost all that money.

An acquaintance of mine did IVF with a surrogate and she just announced that they are expecting twins and will reveal the surro when they find out the genders, but it made me so happy for her and even more excited for my transfer to happen! They did 2 separate frozen transfers with 1 embryo each and they didn’t take, then they did their last transfer with their last 2 embryos and both took!

On another note I left the one salon I was in, I had to leave because I would still have to pay $600 a month without making anything since I do personal services and we wont be able to work till June at the earliest. Even with the CERB fund it wasnt enough to do, the owner verbally attacked me saying I was bailing on my rent and screwing her over and she bends over backwards for all of us and she would NEVER do that to someone, also went into the group chat with the other girls and said someone else was leaving and screwing her for rent and another room to fill and went on a huge rant. It really triggered me the way she just attacked for no reason, I explained I financially could not afford to stay during this time and it was nothing personal but I couldn’t go into debt for the salon.

We have NO contract so technically I didn’t have to give notice or pay last months rent (April) but I still am going to, just so she doesn’t have any right to bad mouth me about it. I’m not the only one she has snapped on either one of the other girls asked if since we werent using the utilities if we could get a bit of a break on the rent instead of the whole amount and she snapped hard, another girl told us all she was on the phone with the emergency business line and they gave her some information and the owner blew up on her. Like were all stressed but none of us are attacking except her. She keeps saying she wants a positive environment for us to work in and we cant even say or ask anything without being scared of being attacked. She kept saying why would I think rent would just disappear (never did) and nothings for free (wasnt expecting to pay nothing) and she isn’t a charity (never said she was). She said how she is the one keeping the salon and the girls afloat...umm we can’t afford $600 a month without our regular income coming in, and what we dont pay gets tacked onto the next month so we could go back with like $1800 hanging over our heads. I said I have no savings since it all went into IVF, i can’t deffer some of my things and I just cant justify the salon rent during this time so I have to leave. She said “rent should be a priority, it’s your job” um ya a job i cannot work because of a virus, its a pandemic none of us knew this would happen, everything is out of the norm. I have a few different priorities right now so I had to drop that one. Im just hurt and pissed she treated me like that, and brought it into the group chat for the other girls to be able to judge me, in person she pretends to be this great and supportive friend but then when i have to do something for myself she acts like that through text.

oh jeeze i read your last question wrong haha, ive gotten a few medium readings done not astrological reading. but i just looked into it online and they have a calculator for it and i just did it, its saying my March fertile day is the 7th but that would be when i naturally have my period.

Not weird at all!

I actually did get one done then found out 3 other ladies got the EXACT same one as me, so that was disappointing. I do card readings on myself every so often tho!

My parents are getting 2 puppies! They found a great breeder in the states for Shih-Tzu’s and they have 2 little girls from 2 different litters so they are perfect. My mom will fly down middle of February once the littlest one has grown a bit more (one is 9 weeks the other is 8 right now) I’m so happy they actually took the time to find a reputable breeder, luckily they are both the colors they want, remind us of the one we had for 10 years. For names the one is already named Penelope and its cute for her, Im thinking maybe the other one should be Violet.
