Every morning Jackie and I pop some pills! Haha.
In all seriousness, when we went keto we decided to add some additional health supplements to our morning routine. These are apple cider vinegar and daily fiber doses.
Daily fiber is an easy one, we needed to make sure that we were still getting a good amount of it for the sake of...well....our bowels lol. I (Noemi) for one....gets cranky when the go isnt going. So we wanted to make sure we took an extra step to stay regular because one of the side effects is constipation. No thank you.
So why apple cider vinegar pills? One, Jackie didn't think she would be able to take the shot of it. It burns your throat, doesn't taste good, and well the whole process gets dragged out. We found some pills and figured it would make it easier.
Next, what are the benefits of ACV? If you don't already know, let's talk about them.
1. Weight loss and metabolism boost, but you shouldn't solely rely on ACV to lose weight. Still need to eat right and get it tight. Along with this, it helps lose belly fat.
2. Lowers your cholesterol. Happy heart, happy body, happy life.... wait that's not the right saying is it...?
3. Reduces blood pressure
4. Lowers blood sugar which is right along side with the ketogenic diet..
5. Additional random things that ACV helps with: yeast infections, sinus infection, sore throat, etc...
