Easy go-to keto “pizza”
Hello, hello!
We were craving pizza today and decided to make or go to “pizza” meal for dinner. It is honestly so easy, and if you do it right: 0 NET CARBS! SAY WHAT?! That’s right, 0 net carbs.
So since we’re feeling generous, we decided to share our recipe for curious minds! What you’re going to need is as follows:
1. Keto bread - we get our from Aldi (woot woot, HYFR aldi!) 2. Hormel Turkey Pepperoni 3. Cheese of your choice, our go-to is pepper jack or colby jack slices Optional toppings we use - jalapeno slices, banana peppers, FLAVOR GOD Pizza seasoning, and ranch for dipping.
Depending on how many calories you want you can mess with the serving sizes of the toppings. We weigh out everything cause we’re still logging our macros on an app (CarbManager FTW!).
Directions: we use a toaster oven, hence the putting in and taking out of the bread... 1. Toast the bread slightly first to get a nice crisp to your “crust” 2. Take the bread out and place your toppings on there 3. Toast the “pizza” to your preferred crispiness 4. BAM! All done you are now ready to stuff yo face with something delicious! Again, if you play your cards right, this meal can be both low calorie and ZERO net carbs. For example, tonight we switched up our toppings and our stats were different.
N: 353 calories, 2 carbs (cause I used a block of mozzarella that I stupidly didn’t double check....grr....but I was craving mozz so i took the “hit” lol) J: 352 calories, 0 carbs (she used pepper jack)
