welcome to the first edition of the #markhellyweek2025, an online event dedicated to the celebration of the mark/helly pairing!
what is the markhelly week?
it’s an online, fan-run, nonprofit event where fans are encouraged to share and create transformative works for the mark/helly/helena pairing. it begins on june 29 and ends on july 5.
we’ll share a curated list of prompts, ideas, and concepts (three per day) on twitter, tumblr and instagram so you can start planning ahead.
sharing, replying, liking, and supporting creators.

how does it work?
each day will cover three prompts (ex: college, cheating, forced proximity) and you can use all three or just one of them. you do not need to limit yourself around tropes or formulas, be creative, mix things up; these are merely suggestions.
what if i’m a video editor?
we'll also share special prompts/audio suggestions for editors!
where should i submit my work(s)?
there’s no rule, though platforms like twitter, instagram, tumblr, ao3, tiktok are easier for fellow fans to find you. use the event tag and your work will be added to the ao3 collection.
- use the tag #markhellyweek2025 (“markhelly week 2025” on Ao3 without the quotation marks)
- no AI-assisted or AI-generated pictures, art, fan fiction, audios, etc
- be civil.
- no plagiarism. all content must be yours!
- if you want your fanfic(s) to be added to our ao3 collection for the event and/or shared on our page, use the “markhelly week 2025” tag!
- wips are allowed!
