How it happened and Why it’s important to have a reputation policy. Our client was getting ugly complaints from all over social media. Not from a troll per se, but from an influencer who only wanted “certain” people to partake in her product giveaway on behalf of our client. That being said, our agency works diligently at building a solid online presence for our clients. We were proud of the traction and the visibility this brand was getting.

As a magazine maker here in the trenches, people always ask me how to get started on @Flipboard. Beyond creating magazines. The real challenge seems to be the concept of adding and creating a magazine from scratch.

For those that "flip" their own content, it's important to know how the app curates.

I hope these graphics clarify those doubts.

Flipping from Desktop:

Go to about.flipboard.com/tools/

Put the “Flipit" button on your toolbar

Click on the red button 

Add to a magazine of your choice

You can add your blog, and more!

Flipping from a device:

Look for the “Share button” at the bottom of your browser

Navigate until you get the “more” symbol. 

Make sure you have installed the Flipboard app

Select “Flipboard” from the menu

The Flipboard app will appear on your social shares toolbar.

You can now add a web article into Flipboard
