A lowkey life full of luxury and peace is the goal.
Someday
the world that Paul Milinksi makes, i want to live there.
I’m so used to wondering if I’m not good enough, not working hard enough, not doing enough, that it’s honestly a shock to ask myself- what if I am? With a bit of effort, we can start flipping the script a little and give ourselves the confidence to believe we can do it! >: )

I am aware that I am less than some people prefer me to be, but most people are unaware that I am so much more than what they see.

Don't just learn, experience. Don't just read, absorb. Don't just change, transform. Don't just relate, advocate. Don't just promise, prove. Don't just criticize, encourage. Don't just think, ponder. Don't just take, give. Don't just see, feel. Don’t just dream, do. Don't just hear, listen. Don't just talk, act. Don't just tell, show. Don't just exist, live.
— Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart
the beauty of anime movies is their view on ordinary things. every single thing is detailed to look good and feel good. the sky, the food, the clothes; all its characteristics make you feel warm and safe and want to get out of bed, or wherever you are, to see the sun and inhale pure air. that’s the reason i love each one of them, they make you see beauty and awesomeness in every little aspect of our ordinary lives. the joy of talking to your friends between breaks and sharing some laughs, the feeling in your chest every time you fall in love, the calmness of walking anywhere and seeing strangers and wondering what’s their story. the happiness of sitting in your backyard to draw, paint, listen to music, anything that makes you feel okay. everything can be fine and it will be. that’s the feeling anime movies transmit to you. the feeling of living our lives.

Feeling Misunderstood
So, today’s a bad day. My depression and anxiety are definitely on full throttle today. I guess the important thing is I’ve learnt to admit it to myself when I am having a difficult day, and that the negative thoughts in my head are heightened by my mental illness.
I feel angry and really sad. I don’t really know why. I’m angry that people keep telling me that I’ve changed. And I’m sad because that makes me feel really alone. I’m trying not to be upset at them because they might not completely understand how much I’ve had to go through in my life.
And even though I became a stronger person, that does not mean I don’t still have scars. But I’m still just so frustrated about no matter how hard I try, I can’t get the people in my life to see that the scars are part of me. They are not something that needs to be fixed. They are part of my story and who I am.
My wounds healed. So why isn’t that enough? My scars remind me of the strength I had to have to survive. Do you tell someone with physical scars they need fixing? Why are my emotional scars any different?
Some wounds cut too deep and they do leave scars. But that does not mean I am broken. It means I had to make a choice. I either change my state of mind and fight or I give up. I changed my state of mind. And when you do that, you change your perspective on everything, not just what you’re going through then and there.
My life has been hard and it still is but it has changed me for the better. I’m just sad that people can’t see that if I didn’t change, I doubt I would be sitting here today.
