Tiny House Nation

I just watched the first episode of Tiny House Nation. I've been interested in Tiny Living now for years... well since I was 8 (and I'm over... well, lets just say I'm a LOT older now). From the many, many Tiny Trailer homes that have been posted on line and around in blogs, magazines like Dwell and all, I have to say, that this was a very pretty tiny house, well put together and the huge windows/door (which appears to be a commercial product) is amazing, but the overall design (especially the roof line) didn't allow for much to happen, like storage lofts. Having the master bed area on the main level really cut down on extra space they really could use. They literally have no place to lounge other than in bed. (While I'm all up for that, I can't lounge in my bed without falling asleep.) Basically, I can see in their future a secondary trailer for a living room and maybe a bigger closet. I know that would double the cost, but it is still a LOT cheaper than a conventional home. I am a designer (residential - generally conventional homes, but since I am hooked on Tiny, I could have helped them greatly with their design... they could have gotten lots of ideas on line and overall had more space for 1. more of their possessions, clothes, and needed items and 2. more space for the baby to sleep/play and 3. a built-in sofa for relaxing and company. I look forward to seeing every episode... I was hooked way before this was a show and way, way before living Tiny was cool!! Good job guys!
