Every summer, Midoriya and Iida return to the same beach. Living so far apart had been a bit straining on their friendship at first, but what started as a harmless comment quickly spiraled into something more.
“I’ve been putting on weight at university. It’s getting to be a problem.”

And every summer since, Iida found himself hoping for more of the same reaction. Midoriya was too easily flustered; it’s bad for his heart - or his self-control - to see his friend get a little pinker with every inch gained, every fleeting summer sunset spent together, away from the curious gazes of high school friends. Iida knew he didn’t need to keep gaining weight to keep Midoriya’s shy and rapt attention. He could have stopped many, many pounds ago. But then another thing happened: Midoriya started to get softer, too.
“My job requires a lot of sitting. I must be snacking more than I realize. Do you think this will be a problem for me too, Iida?”
It started with just a few scant inches around his middle. A little softness. Midoriya had always been a bit gangly. But Iida couldn’t help encouraging him. But Midoriya’s skin was starting to show the signs of his gluttony, his desperate efforts to catch up to his friend hadn’t been in vain. And imagining him struggling to swallow just one more bite over and over again meant that Midoriya was never far from his mind.
And seeing his friend from across the beach that next summer - THIS summer - Iida had to swallow his heart a few times. Midoriya was massive. An absolute pile of striped, wobbling flesh spilling out of a too-small swimsuit and looking pleased to see him. His navel was stretched tight - but Iida knew it would deepen as his body adjusted. Iida’s own body was quite used to the rounded gut he’d been sporting for years now, and his navel was deep and flexible enough for pleasure. And maybe this past year, Iida had started overeating a bit more purposefully again. Midoriya was nothing if not encouraging, and Iida didn’t want to lose his lead. “Midoriya… you look great.” Ah, he hadn’t meant to start off with such an obvious comment, but he couldn’t help it. Close up, he could see how all the pounds clung beautifully to Midoriya’s smaller, more petite frame. This had to be the upper limit of what his body could take. His round, soft stomach was the biggest attention grabber, but his thighs… they practically swallowed his suit. Everywhere Iida looked, he found something to fill his cock.
