Yooooo GMW fans…Corey Fogelmanis’ new show is super violent, super controversial, super intense and super triggering. THIS IS NOT GIRL MEETS WORLD. There is some seriously messed up stuff in this show. 

I know everybody loves Corey Fogelmanis, but just please put your own self care before engaging in this show just to fangirl over him. 

With that said, it’s actually really interesting

I wouldn’t say it’s super violent. Controversial and intense, you bet; triggering? Only if

the content legitimately triggers actual responses to trauma and not just the internet’s misuse of the word. But it’s in no way super violent especially with far more extreme works out there like A Serbian Film.

I still highly recommend “PrankMe”. It’s disturbing, it’s engaging, it’s black comedy meers psychological horror done absolutely brilliantly. Easily one of the best series to come out this year (the other, IMO being SYFY’s Blood Drive)

I honestly think jasper liked carla. And she definitely liked him too. He was so upset when he realized what he’d done (in ep 3) and i think the fact that his mental state kept getting worse drowned out his feelings for her

I think on some level Jasper maybe empathised with Carla or at least tried to. But honestly from what it looked like he was really taking what could have been legit feelings on her side and manipulated them. That realisation in episode 3 is less of a “oh I hurt someone I care about ” and more “oh, I fucked up and now I’m paying for it,”

Yeah 100% agreee. One of the reasons I love the show so much is it’s so confusing and makes me want to analyze it like plays I’ve studied in English or Drama. I don’t really know what my opinion is. Maybe on some level he liked her. He definitely manipulated her. I have no real idea. I just keep seeing these glances and thinking “Well Fuck”.

It’s like the fact that I don’t know wether I love or hate Jasper.

I love him as a horror villain. He’s in my top 5 right now. There’s just so many layers and I think it’s down to Corey’s brilliant performance. He can play a bad guy any time.

I just finished Corey Fogelmanis’ new series Prank Me and damn Corey can play a deranged psychopath really well. Jasper is so vastly different from Farkle and I’m just blown by Corey’s acting range. Some highlights include Jasper’s fake tears that are really different than the one time he actually was sincerely crying.

My only negative note is how everyone’s voice was so clear for the ‘non-staged’ scenes, like it didn’t sound like a prankster videotaping people. And also how did Jasper be able to do all those stuffs after (mild spoiler) he got kicked out? (end spoiler).

All in all really a mind-boggling miniseries. Love the YouTuber format. And that very last scene.. Wow never have I ever seen a fate sadder than that character’s.
