Yooooo GMW fans...Corey Fogelmanis’ new show is super violent, super controversial, super intense and super triggering. THIS IS NOT GIRL MEETS WORLD. There is some seriously messed up stuff in this show. 

I know everybody loves Corey Fogelmanis, but just please put your own self care before engaging in this show just to fangirl over him. 

With that said, it’s actually really interesting

I just finished Corey Fogelmanis' new series Prank Me and damn Corey can play a deranged psychopath really well. Jasper is so vastly different from Farkle and I'm just blown by Corey's acting range. Some highlights include Jasper's fake tears that are really different than the one time he actually was sincerely crying.

My only negative note is how everyone's voice was so clear for the 'non-staged' scenes, like it didn't sound like a prankster videotaping people. And also how did Jasper be able to do all those stuffs after (mild spoiler) he got kicked out? (end spoiler).

All in all really a mind-boggling miniseries. Love the YouTuber format. And that very last scene.. Wow never have I ever seen a fate sadder than that character's.

I really can’t encourage you enough to go watch Prank Me on Fullscreen, guys, like nevermind the fact that Corey is in it, but the commentary on YouTube culture is spot on and I think it’s super important on this moments.

Not only it talks about how there’s people who would burn the world down if that’s gonna get the likes, shares and subscribers, but how it constantly brings that youtubers and their comunities feed each other, that a YouTube personality will only go as far as they fans let them and if they feed each other toxicity and if noone is ever held accountable then shit’s gonna blow and the responsibility not only will lay on the person that lit the match but also on those who never did anything to stop them, as Jasper say “you might as well put the pill in her mouth”.

Prank Me talks about very dark, very real topics that we always see as part of the ‘internet reality’ (to put it in a way) we live in and, if you can watch it (there’s a lot of dark shit/disturbing imagery in the show), I would really recommend you to do so and then think very deeply and critically what are you watching, what kind of media are you consuming and if, wherever that is, is good and worth of your support. Beacuse it’s not only a prank, bro.

Most of the pranks, if not all, that are shown in the series are pranks that we have seen on YouTube, the only difference is that, even if as gross and controversial, none of those has gone wrong (yet).

So go watch Prank Me on Fullscreen and remember, sometimes is not about if you can take a joke or not but about the joke itself.
