March was a new start to moving old Merlin fics over to AO3, along with some of my originals and I'm continuing into April and decided a little promotion was in order.

Here's 'Born of the Dragon'. Written in three parts, the first one starts when our quartet (plus one) are just ten years old. Part 2 they're teens and 3 is the conclusion of the story when they're young adults.

Cute in parts but you're also going to need tissues - especially during 'Morgana 1'

I'm back! Did you miss me?

After a long time away, dealing with RL problems and sometimes working on my originals, I returned to AO3 in March and uploaded a few new stories.

I've moved a couple of Merlin fanfics over from ff.net ('We Loyal Traitors' and 'Ouzel') as well as making a start to publishing my originals. 'Zoomalia' is already fully over and I'm starting on the completed three book series 'The Seven'.

I'm also now bringing over 'Born of the Dragon' (Merlin)

Summary: The mysterious wizards work tirelessly to end the centuries old war with the savage Westerners and Zia now has a chance to become one of them. Her family have mixed feelings though, not convinced that such a choice is ideal for a high ranking Daughter of Eastern. Apparently meek, Zia secretly yearns for adventure and yet has no idea just much her life is about to change or how little she truly knows about the world she lives in.

I don’t really watch this show but I do continue to follow Katie’s career as I do all the ‘Merlin’ crowd.  Just reading back over some of my old fanfics yesterday and reminding myself just how much I enjoyed Morgana.  Katie was incredible for bringing that complex character to life with so little experience and now I watch this scene and see both the same talent and yet MORE talent.  I can see how much Morgana could have helped her to shape Lena. They’re not the same, certainly, but they’re both girls who have taken their abuse/neglect and shaped it into POWER.
