Once a President leaves office, they should be sent to prison for life. That way, only the most selfless & dedicated people try to get elected.

And maybe after serving 4 to 8 years (depending on whether they served one term or two), we could vote on whether or not they should be paroled. So if you were a really good President, you might be rewarded with parole.

Also, if you put term limits on members of Congress, then we could have it where they get sent to prison for the same amount of time they were in office. So if you serve as a Senator for 6 years, you then go to prison for 6 years.
