Jarid Blue [King Mallard]

Jarid Blue[King Mallard] is a photographer who uses the human body as his canvas for projecting a variety of artwork. Blue uses these photography sessions that he calls Light Baths as therapy for his clients/models. It's a way for people to shed their insecurity's and enjoy bathing in the light. Through his website [ www.JaridBlue.com ] you can book a group or solo Light Bath session and view and/or purchase archival inkjet prints and original paintings of his work. He invites everyone to have a look, be inspired, and if interested, take a dip in the light.

Here is another photo from this year's @elementsfestnyc hosted by @bangonnyc. I continued to play with using location based imagery for the Light Baths. The photo projected here is the view of the dock from the stage that had many old posts sticking up out of the water, with the city skyline in the background. I really love changing a persons skin into the surrounding scenery that they are immersed in. Making them part of the event and the space itself.
