Earlier this week, some may have received a surprise Valentine’s gift, as the Jashi Zine has finally been shipped out and packages are arriving in batches!! 💝

We are ELATED to finally have the merch boxes shipped out, and want to again thank everyone involved with this project, from contributors to our preorderers! ✨💕 Thank you for all your patience as this project came to fruition! o((*^▽^*))o

1/6/2019 Update

We would like to apologize for another bout of radio silence – our moderator that is constructing the boxes for shipping had a very hectic December, and has gotten back to the group after a few weeks to explain as such! ☹️

We are unsure when the boxes will ship again, and want to once more apologize for the erratic updates and uncertainty with dates involving this project. We appreciate everyone’s patience while we work through the last stretch of difficulties and finally get the zines sent out world wide! ❤️

The moment we have an estimate again, we will update everyone here and on Twitter with the news!

12/6/2018 Update:

The merch box materials have finally all been assembled together and will be shipping as early as this weekend! 💌

Our physical zines are finally here! All that’s left is the full order of charms, which should arrive next week, and then the boxes will be assembled and shipped out! 😘

I was honored to be a part of the Jashi Zine organized by @sallychanscraps and got to run alongside and befriend a bunch of awesome artists. It was a such an incredible experience. So…..thanks guys!

My submission for @jashizine since so many of my fellow jashi heads 😝 are uploading their pieces I thought I’d join in too.

I went with one of my first au ideas from the first Jashi Week Vampire Ashi and Hunter jack begin a forbidden romance 😘 I think I was the only pencil artist 😓in the zine might have turn out a little too rough..

Of course once I started seeing everyone else’s work I was blown away 🤩 you’re all so talented!!! and should be proud

will there be another Jashizine next year?? since i was too late to make my entrie and i really wanted to submit into the Zine

Several of our members have expressed interest in participating in another zine in the future, but we won’t be able to say for sure or not right now. 👀

If our mods have the time in a year or so, it could be very possible! But likely on a smaller scale than our debut project 😜

I can finally post the whole image I did for the @jashizine now!

I finished this piece back in June and looking back on it now, I went above and beyond with this piece in my opinion. I tried to make this piece look as close to the show’s art style as possible, so much so that I had to add more details to it than what I had planned originally for the piece, and I think I was able to accomplish that. Everything from the outlines on both Jack and Ashi to the designs for both the background and foreground of the palace. I wanted to add more details to the piece, but I was already satisfied with the results and worried that it might ruin the picture in the physical copies. 

This was a lot of fun to be a part of, and I feel honored that I got to experience this with other artists and writers that were part of the zine as well.
