Assorted Lore 15 ~ Who Scarlett and Kieran are Twisted from
Hello everyone!
Once again, it’s been quite a while but good news: wedding was a wonderful success. And a year and a half of planning is finally behind me, meaning I can get back to my hobbies and the things I love. Namely this blog.
Recently, I’ve introduced four new twst ocs to my already large cast but of these four, the two I’m currently the most attached to are Scarlett and Kieran. They’re both going to have a big role in my future writing but I hadn’t planned to reveal who they’re twisted from because lowkey, it’s cringe. SERIOUSLY cringe. But after a few mutuals guessed correctly in my ask box I decided to change my mind on that. And honestly, what is really cringe in the crazy times we live in? To be cringe is to be free.
So here’s a rundown on who I based Scarlet and Kieran on, and also a glimpse into one of my more recent Disney-related obsessions.

I think it’s pretty obvious that I am an unabashed Disney Adult, I not rich enough to go as hard as I’d like but I still go to the parks as often as I can and keep up with all the updates. I especially love their halloween events since I’m a HUGE Disney villain nerd.
It’s always been my dream to go to Tokyo Disney and for halloween because their halloween events always looked especially cool and I cosplay from TWST without people asking what character I am (which happened twice last time I was at Oogie Boogie Bash, lol). I was planning to finally go to TDL this year but sadly those plans fell through. But as saddening as it is, it makes me all the more determined to make it happen in 2026. And THIS is why:
Last year, TDL debuted a brand new halloween parade that is an absolute treat for my villain-loving soul. Into the Frenzy has Dr. Facillier leading the rest of Disney villains as they come together with Mickey and his friends to host a fabulous halloween party with gorgeous floats, stunning costumes and charming dancers encouraging the guests to dance and join the party with them. But of course, behind the spooky fun, the villains have something insidious planned. Personally, I don’t mind what the villains are planning for the guests because this entire parade is so amazing. ESPECIALLY the Maleficent/Jafar float.
Yes, I based Scarlett and Kieran off the parrot and crow dancers that support Jafar and Maleficent. They’re so captivating but I’m particularly drawn to Maleficent’s crows. I am just completely spellbound by their charm and choreography. The parade coordinators and the dancers themselves have done such a wonderful job capturing the vibe of these birds while keeping the movements graceful and just slightly evil. I don’t know if I can describe this well to someone who isn’t a dancer but characterization in dance is one of the hardest things to learn and being able to capture a proud and bewitching feeling and bring that to your character is very impressive.
Also, I just feel like the parrots and crows really fit Scarabia and Diasomnia’s vibe. There is even fanart of Jamil and Kalim and Malleus and Lilia dressed up as the dancers.
Today, TDL began this year’s halloween celebrations and Into the Frenzy is being rerun this year. While I’m sad I won’t be there this year, I’m happy that I can still experience everything via social media and youtube. But, I really, REALLY hope Into the Frenzy is rerun in 2026 so I have a chance to be captivated by these beautiful birds in real life. But in the meantime, Scarlett and Kieran will be showing up more in my future writing along with my other new ocs and I hope developing them more will help stave off the anticipation I have as I wait a WHOLE ASS YEAR for the possibility of seeing this parade in person.
And I may or may not be currently drawing Scarlett, Iman and Taima in the parrot dancer regalia.
Hobbies: Gossiping, spending money, social media and doing things to piss Crisanta off.

Albani is Crisanta’s younger stepsister and her birth was the catalyst for the latter’s parent’s divorce. Though it can be argued that Albani’s mother chased after their father and encouraged the infidelity, he still chose to be unfaithful sired her while still married to Chrisanta’s mother. The girls are roughly two years apart in age.
Growing up, Albani was unaware of her father’s other family. Her mother on the other hands was very aware of her role in the extramarital affair but was rather apathetic to the thought she could be tearing Crisanta’s family apart. After the divorce was finalized, their father wasted no time remarrying Albani’s mother and starting a new family, rarely seeing Crisanta or his other daughter with his ex-wife. Her father would go on to have another child with Albani’s mother a few years later.
For the most part, Albani has inherited her mother’s apathy and is pretty indifferent to the emotional damage her father has done to his other family, especially Crisanta. It’s implied that Albani isnt aware that her father cheated on Crisanta’s mother or may have even been told that it was the other way around. But regardless, she feels that her mother was his true love so the divorce shouldn’t matter anyway. Naturally, the relationship between the stepsisters has always been contentious and with Albani to soon begin her first year at NRC as a Heartslabyul student, it’s set to become all the worse.
Albani has inherited much of her mother’s abilities and has been magically skilled from a very young age, particularly in ice magic. Outside of magic, she is also a talented singer and runs a popular Magicam where she uploads videos of herself making covers of popular songs.

Albani is an incredibly beautiful girl with clear blue eyes that are nearly transparent. Her hair is soft and white, cascading slightly past her shoulders. She’s on the shorter side and it’s one of her few insecurities. So she wears heels that add 7CM to her height with all of her uniforms except her PE uniform.
Despite her beauty, Albani’s personality is anything but lovely. As a result of her mother’s spoiling and her father’s enabling, Albani has a very imperious attitude that could challenge even Iman’s. She is someone who has wanted for very little, believes she’s entitled to exactly what she wants when she wants it, and life has unfortunately not yet given her a proper reality check. She does have her sweet moments but these are far and few and usually only given to those she likes or are willing to put up with her behavior.
As mentioned before, Albani does not have the best relationship with Crisanta and this animosity unfortunately also extends to those Crisanta considers friends. Albani is particularly dismissive of Ione and despite the fact Ione is her vice dorm leader, openly looks down upon her and makes disparaging comments about the nature of her relationship with her stepsister. But of course, Albani is astute enough to keep these comments out of Riddle’s ear.
So far, the only one willing to call out Albani on her crap is Iman and her personality is partially why when Albani auditioned for the Black Swans soon after coming to NRC, she was only accepted as a reserve member. Despite clashing with the other club members, the senior members acknowledge that Albani has strong vocal talent and that is why she’s allowed to stay. Taima often comments that Albani's attitude is very similar to how Iman used to be before the VDC. Naturally, Iman refuses to acknowlege this.

Albani has yet to discover her UM. But there are strong hints implying that when she discovers it, the spell will be cryogenic-based as that is where most of her magical skills lay.

As a freshman coming to NRC a year after the current timeline, Albani hasn't had much or a chance to interact with the canon twst characters besides those in her dorm. She has a baseline respect for Riddle and Deuce but doesn't think much of Ace. Ironically, the one thing she and Ione have in common considering how much they otherwise dislike each other.

At first glance, Igraine appears to be no different than any other beastwoman entering NRC as a Diasomnia freshman. However, she has been a clear presence in her dorm for the last three years as Heloise’s raven familiar. Orphaned at a very young age, she and her two brothers were taken in and unofficially adopted by the Orklyn family. For most of their lives, they lived as magical familiars with Igraine forming a strong connection to Heloise early on. And as the girls have gotten older, their bond has become stronger as well.
However, despite their connection, Igraine can be considered something of a late bloomer in regards to magic, at least compared to her brothers. Both of her brothers developed human forms pretty quickly while Igraine continued to live exclusively as a raven. And beyond some skill with umbrakinesis and her ability to communicate with Heloise, remained lackluster in other kinds of magic for a long time. Her brothers often teased her for this and it made her very insecure, especially since she hoped to one day assist Heloise as she went on to serve in the Draconia court. But even with her lackluster magic, Heloise always made it clear that she didn’t want another familiar and values Igraine as a companion as much as a familiar. Indeed, most of those in Heloise’s life think well of Igraine. Lilia in particular was always very encouraging as she developed her magic, believing that she would one day prove her worth. And when Heloise entered NRC, he would be proven right.
When Heloise entered NRC with Vidaria, Igraine naturally came with them though she still had yet to develop a human form and couldn’t be considered a student herself. She mostly served as an extra set of eyes and ears for them within the Diasomnia dorm and NRC as a whole. Igraine was usually the first to alert Heloise of potential threats to Vidaria and when Heloise wasn’t around, found ways to communicate messages to Lilia. Her magic soon began to improve and she developed a friendship with Kieran who was also in his freshman year. Being of a similar species, he was one of the very few in the dorm able to communicate with Igraine but with his help, she soon learned how communicate with others who werent her master. This became very useful toward the end of the school year when a crisis rocked the Diasomia dorm and changed Heloise’s life forever.
Due to an ongoing feud Vidaria was having with Sidonie, Heloise was placed in a very dangerous situation that resulted in her being kidnapped by a Pro-Cherith resistance group. She was held hostage in the Land of Mists for several weeks and Igraine was the first to alert Lilia as to what happened. During Heloise’s captivity, Igraine managed to sneak into her cell many times to relay messages between her and Lilia and form an escape plan. When it was time for Heloise to finally make her escape, Igraine helped her and the pivotal moment came when Igraine used her magical resonance with Heloise to help her discover her UM for the first time, which ultimately secured their successful escape long enough for Lilia to come storming in with Draconia reinforcements.
While Igraine was commended for her part in helping Heloise escape her captors, the entire ordeal left the latter very traumatized. She spent the remainder of her freshman year recovering in Briar Valley surrounded by Igraine and her family. During this time, the distance and lack of communication between Heloise and Vidaria caused their friendship to become strained but Igraine continued to stay by her master’s side, comforting her after nightmares and helping her study the history of the Briar Valley/Land of Mists conflict. By the time Heloise was well enough to return to NRC to complete her sophomore year, Igraine also felt that the experience had helped her become stronger as well.
During another crisis in the Diasomnia dorm, Igraine reached a tremendous milestone as she was able to transform into a human form for the first time. With this milestone, and with Kieran already helping her with human language, it was decided that Igraine would finally enter NRC as a student the following year. Though she currently prefers her raven form, Igraine is thrilled with the prospects this development in her magic could mean for her. She’s looking forward to being more helpful to Heloise and Vidaria and after a year of observing Kieran, has also developed an interest and a desire to learn to dance. It’s unknown what the upcoming school year has in store for her, but for the first time in her life, Igraine feels confident in her place as Heloise’s familiar.

As a raven, Igraine is on the smaller side and this is also reflected in her human form as she’s a little shorter than both Heloise and Vidaria. Her shoulder-length hair is the exact hue of her feathers, a beautiful deep black with a slight bluesih purple tint. And her eyes are an intense sapphire blue. She wears most of her school uniforms in a standard fashion.
Personality wise, Igraine is in many ways like her master with a quiet seriousness that’s occasionally replaced with playful mischief when around those she’s most comfortable with. Though her magic has vastly improved since coming to NRC with Heloise, Igraine still has her insecure moments but tries her best not to make it obvious. She tends to stay close to her master and besides her club mates, doesn’t really go out of her way to interact with others outside of Diasomnia. The one exception to this is Grim as he can also be considered a magical familiar though his relationship with Yuulan is very different. They have a pretty amicable relationship, though Igraine has a tendency to tease Grim for his gluttony and because his magic is far less deciplined despite being stronger. She also has an interest in Lucis, but keeps her distance from him since cats tend to be “fond” of birds for the wrong reasons.
Like most fae, Igraine is far older than she appears. Though she is mentally still a teenager and in fae years, younger than most in her dorm.
Besides Heloise, the one Heloise is closest to in Diasomia is Kieran, the only other corvid creature in their dorm. He was her first real friend at NRC and after she entered NRC as a student, helped her get settled and used to her human form. During the previous year, one of Igraine’s favorite things to do when not helping Heloise was watching Kieran dance. To the point that she’s become interested in learning to dance herself. Kieran recommended her to the Black Swans and Danica has since taken Igraine under her wing, both of them hoping that dancing will help her get more comfortable with her human form. Outside of learning to dance, Igraine’s other interests include reading, studying history, improving her magic, observing people, and interestingly enough, collecting antique gems and jewelry.

Igraine’s name comes from the mother of both Morgaine le Fay and Morgause of Arthurian legend whom Vidaria and Heloise are loosely twisted from. She was also the mother of King Arthur himself.

🖤Igraine’s Relationships With My Other TWST OCs🖤
Though a freshman, Igraine has been around NRC for as long as Heloise has and is familiar with most of the canon characters. However, she doesn’t really have much of a relationship with any of them besides the Diasomnia students. She’s fond of Sebek and deeply respects Lilia but that’s about it. She does have a baseline respect for all of the dorm leaders.
As for her relationship with my ocs, it’s a little more varied. She gets along well with all of her clubmates, particularly Danica and Ione. She becomes close to Danica during the latter's exile in Diasomnia and Ione and her bond over trying to become better performers when Igraine joins the Black Swans. And she gets along surprisingly well with Yuulan, though her relationship with Grim tends to be a mixed bag.

Introducing a new oc today. Honestly, I've been debating for a while whether or not I was going to give her a proper profile since even though this girl does exist in my twst oc universe, she only shows up in Ione’s overblot AU. I still might in the future but for now, this will suffice.
Albani is a future Heartslabyul student twisted from the white rose from Alice in Wonderland. Her name comes from the Latin word "alba", meaning white. She will enter NRC a year after the current freshmen. She's also Crisanta's stepsister, younger by two years. She was actually born while Crisanta's parents were still married and her existence was one of the catalysts for their divorce, among other things.
Because of this, she and Crisanta have had an extremely contentious relationship for their entire lives. Crisanta understandably blames Albani (and her mother) for her broken home life and her own mother's anguish. Albani for her part is indifferent to Crisanta's feelings and doesn't understand why she hates her so much. To her mind, her mother was her father's true love so their divorce shouldn't matter. It’s implied that she doesn’t know that her father cheated on Crisanta’s mother nor her own mothers hand in tearing them apart. Things only become worse between them when Albani comes to NRC and is sorted in the same dorm as her stepsister.
Personally wise, Albani is very sophisticated and generally a nice person, to the people she likes at least. But thanks to her mothers spoiling and her father’s enabling, she’s incredibly proud of her magical heritage and is kind of a brat. She looks down on Ione and is very jealous of her position in the Black Swans. She ends up having a major role in Ione's overblot AU.
After a scandal forces Ione to leave the Black Swans in her sophomore year, Albani is chosen as her replacement because of her very strong vocal talent. Unfortunately, her attitude immediately clashes with the other members. She openly expresses jealousy of Danica’s relationship with Vil, and frequently argues with Iman over who should take center in their choreography. The only reason she isn’t kicked out right away is because Ione leaves the Black Swans a month before that years VDC and they have no time to find a more agreeable replacement. Unfortunately, Albani’s presence only makes the groups unstable foundation worse when Crisanta also eventually leaves the group for a second time.
As I begin to reopen this blog, I’d like to take the time today to introduce a new concept of my twst oc universe: the Year Two AU.
In a nutshell, the year two au is a (as of now, might change in the future) separate, hypothetical universe in which the current freshmen are now sophomores, the sophomores are now juniors, etc. The current 3rd year students are still around, but mostly only mentioned in passing as they’re all occupied with their senior internships. The events of book 7 have not happened, yet.
I decided to make this au mostly because Ione's overblot takes place in her sophomore year. Also I recently created 3 new ocs and have come to realize they really don’t have a place in my current timeline. Especially since I already have too many ocs as it is! XD
Here are a few notable things about this au that will be most relevant in the future.
I’ve mentioned this before, but Crisanta’s younger stepsister enters NRC and is sorted into Heartslabyul. Much to her chagrin.
Yuulan is still stuck in Twisted Wonderland but over time feels less and less interested in trying to return home. Especially as her relationship with Deuce deepens. Through some illegal maneuvering, some of her friends have managed to secure her an ID card so she can technically be considered a citizen of the Isle of Sages if anything happens to her.
Danica has returned to Pomefiore after spending roughly the last 3 months of her freshman year in Diasomnia. Her overblot is canon to this au.
With Vil departing for his senior internship, Sidonie has officially taken over as the new dorm leader of Pomefiore with Epel as her vice.
With Trey leaving for his internship, Riddle has selected Ione to be his new vice.
Iman and Kalim are officially engaged, they’re about as excited about it as you would guess.
Silver and Vidaria have taken over leadership of Diasomnia in Malleus and Lilia’s abesene.
This year, the National Arcane Academy Festival and VDC take place at RSA. There is also a new category added to the VDC for solo performers. This will be important later on.
A lot of my writing in the Year Two AU will focus on Ione’s overblot at the buildup/aftermath of it but some of it will focus on my other characters and their changing dynamics as they begin a new school year. And of course, I’ll soon be introducing my 3 new ocs, Albani, Scarett and my Diasomnia boy who still does not yet have a name. The last poll ended in a tie so I’ll post it again later today. I’ll be introducing Scarlett this coming Friday, Albani on the 31st, and my Diasomia boy on February 9th, his designated birthday. I hope you look forward to meeting them!
