One of the hangups I had with the MN9 fangame was Pyro and Beck having a heart to heart while Pyro's stage theme played. Is it really as discordant as I think? 😅

The fact that I'm fixated on this instead of Pangolin Brotherhood is a sign of... something... not sure of what yet...

The youngest Mighty Number continued to stare as the eldest Mighty came through the door. Pyro gently shut the door behind him before noticing just how Beck was laying on the floor.

“Ah,” came Mighty Number One’s first reaction. “It’s been awhile since I’ve seen you laying like that.”

“When was the last time?”

Pyro grinned. “Before your first colosseum fight.”

“Oh.” was all Mighty Number Nine could say. His brother laughed, taking a spot near Beck so both of them were staring up at the ceiling now.

Pyrogen gave Beck a soft smile before the two made their way to No. 1's room.

It was warm and comforting in there- something Beck appreciated a lot.

The two brothers found places in the center of the room and laid on their backs, staring at the ceiling.

“[...] Not that I’m opposed to more eyes on Cordelia.” “Are you sure?” Apollo then teased. “You’re a casebook definition of the jealous type.” “Am not.” “Are too.” I sat up a bit straighter. “Prove it.” Apollo and Perseus gave each other a look and nodded. They stood up and started to act out a scene together. “Guys! I just came back from a concert in Los Angeles! And I brought souvenirs!” Apollo said in a high voice meant to imitate Cordelia’s. It was terrible. “Oh hey, Cordelia.” Perseus then acted out, imitating my voice. It was even worse. “Where was it that you went in Los Angeles again? Did anyone talk to you? Did any guys talk to you? What did you wear? Were there any men around you during the performance?” He moved closer to Apollo to shake him by the shoulders. “Did they touch you Cordelia? Did. They. Touch. You?!” As Perseus continued to shake him, Apollo stuck out his tongue in an effort to look dizzy. Achilles smirked a bit, finding the show amusing. I did not. “I don’t act like that.” “Sure you don’t.” Perseus snorted as he let up on Apollo. “Just like how you didn’t fall in love with her because you saved her from drowning.” “Got that Florence Nightingale Syndrome bad.” Apollo agreed with a mockingly dismayed shake of his head. “That’s not what happened.” “Sure is coincidental, though.” Achilles murmured before taking a long sip of water. I could feel a sneer form and a growl escape my throat.

Messing with Scribus for the first time, so of course I plugged in Pangolin Brotherhood to get a feel for it all. Sized the document for standard fiction books. My margins and bleed lines are definitely off for printing, but it's all readable!

おもっきし邪悪なゼロを描いちまったンで、かわいらしめの絵で中和しとく。

エックスとゼロの関係性はなんというか世間的にいうBL的な目では、自分はあまり見ていないです。あくまでバディもの、しかし本人たちの知らない宿命が終わらない戦いへと駆り立てていく　的な。

とはいえ、お前ら距離が近いなあと思う場面はあるので、時々すこし空想したりすることはある。✕じゃなく、＋な妄想だけど。（※カップリングのファンアートは見る側としては好き）

ゼロはソフトハードともに性質として、人間かレプリロイドかそれ以外　という認識しかしてなさそうで、「花が綺麗」だとか「この動物はかわいい」とか感じてなさそうだし知識も関心もないと思ってて。エックスはそういう機微を感じる思考メカニズムは持ってそうだなと思っている。「今日は空がきれいだな」ってエックスが言っても「？？？」なゼロとかいいよな（笑）

でも、ゼロなりの感性でエックスはなんか世話を焼いてやりたくなる対象だったらいいなあ　と考えたり。

そもそも世話を焼くなんてメカニズムは本来組み込まれてないはずなのに、なんだか焼きたくなる　みたいなの、良くないすか？　だってイレギュラーハンターの人格のゼロは本来ワイリーが意図した状態じゃない=エラーであり、戦闘用ロボットなんだから。今は花が綺麗とかはわからないけど、だんだんエックスに感化されてすこし「わかってくる」みたいな。エラーがまたエラーを連鎖させるみたいに。ふふ😊

あとBL界隈のどっちが右とか左とか固定とかってあんまりピンとこないんすよ。いやこれは考えを否定してるわけじゃないですよ、あくまでピンとこないだけ。

なんだろ、キャラクターにこのひとは右配置のロール（役割）、このひとは左のロール、みたいなおままごと的な役割配置ってよくわからんのです。

そりゃ元々の設定で強い隷属性とかあったら、まあ…ってなるけど、ないキャラクター達に当てはめる感覚がよくわからんというだけ。

右とか左とかあんまり重要じゃなくて、そいつら二人が仲良くしてたらそれで尊いんだよな。いつも世話を焼いてしまう側がたまに可愛がられてしまうのもいいなってなるし、守られてる側が頼もしい姿を垣間見せるのもかっこいいやん？

つまり、私は関係性をふんわり味わうタイプのオタク。
