BOOKED 3 Voice Gigs today! Always have to remember on days like today all the days when there were negative 3 bookings...that's a thing, right? Negative bookings? No, but seriously, this is after changing around demos and hundreds of phone calls and dropping off demos and asking for help or advice or watching YouTube videos or spending hundreds of hours recording voice auditions etc. So, even though I still have a long ways to go in getting to where I want to be, I need to remind myself to enjoy these days even more, because I HAVE put in the time. There really is no better way to feel completely useless, then when you go through a carwash-while three people wash your car whilst you, a healthy adult male, sit there lazily like a sac of potatoes. I did try looking busy, I even helped out by pointing to spots they had missed. In fact, if I DIDN'T go through the Carwash, they would never have had the opportunity to feel productive... so...in the end, it was a win-win.

"I think the world's a bit better with people like Mr. Sandler in it." Last night his name came up on TV and that was the first thought that came to mind. So I wanted to post this. I always wonder after a well-known actor/musician/artist of any kind passes away, why is it only THEN that we acknowledge them? I always think, we should do it while they're alive. Instead of being so quick to sh√t on people because it sells a magazine, how bout' we give them some freakin' credit. Sure you may not enjoy his more recent movies, but guess what, families do. If they didnt, they wouldn't get made. But even still, what about his incredible career on SNL? Or his movies in the 90's that people quote almost daily. OR, his comedy CD's that were huge back in the day? He also happens to be a very genuine, nice person. So, today I say we acknowledge Mr. Adam Sandler.
