I saw Heathers a day ago and I’m still thinking about JD’s line “I joined the god damn AV club for you” because just… the mental image of JD joining the AV club is hilarious to me. The fact that Veronica asked him to change and the first thing he did was join a freaking school club. The image of him looking through clubs thinking which one is the most “normal”. Him rocking up to the AV club in that damn trenchcoat and being like “hey, can I join?”. The fact that he most likely hated every minute of it.
This one line causes me so much joy.
JD: I think I just figured something out. I got to go
Chandler: Aren't you forgetting something?

The original cast of heathers the musical just hits so much harder than all the other versions like sorry sir thats my emotional support psychopath pls put him back the way he was thank you.
